Trying to loose 68 Lbs by March any suggestions?

    So i have been slowly gainning weight over the past two years and i am sick of it. I want to loose weight and look as good as i use too. SO my goal is to loose 68lbs in 4 months which is possible. SO i need alot of ideas in order to loose it and i was hopeing my friends at TFW would have some suggestions....I would extremely appericate it. Trying to loose alot of weight before Botcon its a reward for reaching my goal lol.

    Watch your intake. Drink lots of water. Eat more veggie n fruits. And definitely avoid the fast food joint!

    That's a great free website that helps you keep track of what you eat, how much you exercise, gives you tips and what not. Both my wife and I used it with success. Good luck!

    Edit: When exercising, make sure you do both cardio (aerobic) and weight-lifting (anaerobic). Weight-lifting does much more to raise your metabolism, and cardio to burn fat.

    Drink loads of water, stay away from soda and energy drinks, also celery with salt makes a nice treat- and burns more calories digesting it then it actually has.

    When I was going out for the SWAT team I ran 2.5 miles 5 times a week and did weight training 4 times a week. Stay away from the cokes and fast food places. Drink water (I cant stress that enough) and watch your food intake. You can do it I have all the faith in the world in you. Good Luck.

    Well, I'm at least 6' and I only weigh 160. I don't know if it's an option for you, but I take cross-country in school (The CC warm-ups at my school are a workout on their own and a good thing to start a morning, so if you want them, you can PM me :thumb  ). Maybe you've got a friend who goes jogging a lot or who does some routinely physical stuff. It's usually better, I've learned, to have a friend or group around you because then you are less vulnerable to giving up. Also, you could get a part-time job at a warehouse unloading trucks. That really builds some muscle. :)

    There's no way to lose 68 pounds in four months and be healthy about it. A target weight loss goal should be about one pound a week, with a maximum of maybe two pounds a weeks. That only gets you up to a loss of 32 pounds, and to be honest, it'd be extraordinary if you were able to pull that off.

    Folks already covered the basics on how to do that: lots of water, aerobic exercise, lean meat instead of red, plenty fruits and vegetables, whole grains, eliminate empty calories like candy and soda.

    Alternatively, you can Ride The Snake.

    Go to a canibal convention with a shirt saying "Walking buffet."

    But seriously, stay away from pop (I stick with milk, OJ, and water), eat smaller portion meals (healthier if you can, but just starting smaller to start works as well), and do some type of exercise that you can enjoy. The big idea is to do things that you can keep on doing later and enjoy. If you hate your diet, there is no way that you will stay on it. Trust me, the more you lose, the better you feel. I've lost about 100 lbs. in the last four years, and it is so much easier to do so many more things (and I feel much better as well).
