THAT is definitely a good idea! As much as I would love to give you one, I have only had enough time to give away one (that's not a joke, honestly). Actually I haven't given him away yet since I'm still working on him for a new friend. Be sure to check YouTube later because I'm actually going to post a video of the transformation before I release him :thumbs2:

    Parts used

    First of all

    Amazing custom
    From one customiser to another,
Absolutely fantastic work and I'm sure many other customisers will follow this as a guideline and be inspired by you.

I see deluxe Slug, Scorn, voyager Grimlock parts used here
There's probably more but I've not noticed yet

    Keep up the good work.

I'll be sure to try this one day soon :)

Now I would pay money for this. Take note Hasbro, this is how you make toys. Superb work my good sir. The amount of detail you put into this is just amazing even down to the Cybertronian glyphs. I look forward to seeing the finished Optimus riding on the back of by far the best Custom Grimlock I have ever seen.

Amazing!! Great detail work! One minor nitpick - maybe a little bit more wear/tear on the robot chest? 'Course, don't listen to me - I couldn't do anything a sixteenth as good as this!

Thanks Dinobot102! I really appreciate you noticing the glyphs! Adding every detail that I thought would look cool on Grimlock was just part of the fun and I'm super glad he's to your liking! Although I haven't had the time to work on little Optimus, I will definitely post a pic once he's completed. But since this Grimlock has been released to his new owner, I might just have to have Optimus ride on another Grimlock...

Thanks TannerC1234! You noticed his chest area lacking wear too, huh? I certainly would have to agree, as I've thought so too but didn't get a chance to apply it and thinking of doing this on a future build. I appreciate your attention to detail and comments!

The chest could use a little bit more damage but other than that, it's absolutely flawless. Great job.

Thanks for you comment Cnomis! I totally agree with you. I wish there was more I could do. Being that it was built off of Hasbro's platform, there's not much room for enhancement. During the time of the build, the movie was not released yet and I had not seen it so I was not able to enhance those qualities. Having said all that, if you pay close attention to his transformation, his legs wrap around his body forming the Dino torso and there's no room to add anything on his upper thighs and same goes for his chest and abdomen area. Then all you're left with are the arms, which has been enhanced. But I am working on a grimlock that is in scale of leader prime, his head is the size of leader Grimlocks body minus the tail that will transform and will have the qualities you mentioned. Right now he is just a bust.
