I liked the new Cyclonus but the more I looked at him he just didn't seem all that powerful or imposing. Its a nice figure but I think it would of made a bit more sense to of made him a larger size, in my opinion.

Anyway, I gave him a neck with a styrene rod and sculpt work around that. His head swivels side to side. I then added to his feet a bit to give him some more heft in his shoes. The problem was then that his legs were waaaaay too thin so I built them up with some styrene and fixit sculpt.

I still have to smooth them out and finish painting them.

After all of that I began repainting parts of the figure to add some detail bringing him closer to a mixture of cartoon/idw styles.

His added height will look nice with the custom Galvatron and Soundwave I've been working on.

I still have to figure out his jet mode since his legs no longer transform in the same fashion as before. I've always cared more for the robot mode than alt mode but I'll figure out something.

Anyway here are some pictures with him next to a few other mod/repaints I've done.
    Enjoy!

WOw...! The extra neck length and new feet make a big difference! I'm impressed... Cyclonus really has some presence now!

Also, your custom Onlaught rocks! :)

adding some height to this figure is a good idea b/c I was expecting a taller figure too, but the neck looks ridicules and if it cant be turned into its alt. form than its not a transformer, your other customs are really cool and I expected more for this one

Interesting post, Thanks! Not much to add but I'll try. Its a W.I.P which means its a work in progress, as I mentioned. The neck looks good to me and I think if you had read my description you would of seen that I mentioned that I was working on making his Alt mode work out and also wanted the figure to look like a wraith and have slightly "off" proportions. I'm also more of a fan of the robot mode looking good then the alt. mode so its still a Transformer, despite how eloquently you expressed your opinion that its not.

    Rock on regardless my brother.
