    Hello

I want to share with you my current biggest project

IRON MAN Costume made in metal

I iniciate this project 16 month ago

    Video in YouTube

This last 3 month, i am working in the join, do be able to move easylly. The weight of the armor is about 25 Kg. The size is about 1m75 like me... (the armor is adjust for my body size)

I have light in the eye, gloves and chest. The main metal is from old Computer Case, the gold metal is Bronze.

To be able to create this armor, first i made a model using carton (like blue print, and after cut and deform metal do create the definitive part)

Enjoy the picture and let me some messages

I love how since it's actual metal, the paint has worn off in some places, so it looks like authentic battle damage! which looks AWESOME!

Well, this is my current problem. When i move inside the armor, the paint is damaged. But now. i add some flexible material between metal plate to avoid this.

This is fantastic! I salute your tin-snipping and riveting might!
You could glue felt pieces under the armor where it rubs. Then they might polish each other. You can get self-stick felt sheets at craft stores or use the circles they sell for furniture feet so they don't damage the floor. Also, is that a wet suit under there?
Now, can we see you all lit-up with the lights off? :D
