Hi guys... since my last mod didn't require drilling/cutting/painting...
    )

If you look at the final picture:
STEP1. Widen both holes [fig.A] approx. 5mm (angled like [END] / [FRONT])
STEP2. Remove Booster assembly (2x short screws)
STEP3. Remove white assembly part that was inside the red section (4x long)
STEP4. Plug in the 2 loose boosterpacks [fig.B] to resemble [fig.C]

    C & C welcome :)  have fun!!

That works surprisingly well. I imagine he can't transform without parts-forming. If you were to attach the thrusters to the pegs under the jet top instead of the holes in the legs, could he transform without removing them so the whole thing would just stay on his back?

Its the exact same transformation, its just he doesn't peg in the rear section. Instead he pegs the thrusters in and just rests the tail fin panel on them.

Hence the parts forming. The thrusters have to be removed or else they'll be on his legs.

Not really parts-forming, considering the thrusters detached originally.

That's like calling Classics/Universe Starscream a parts-former, just because his null rays need to be removed for transformation.

As for the new look, I dig it! Nice, man.

Wow... a nice, elegant reconfiguration! I like it a lot!!

I've already made the ramjets on the fastpack removable, so I've gotta go try this now! Not sure if it'll replace my regular configuration, but I like the interchangeability of it. :thumb

how'd you get the gun to stay below the cockpit? Did you remove the front landing gear? I can't seeem to get it to stay.

^ He drilled a hole. There's a tutorial on how to do it in the tutorail section.

    thnx

nope, default the backpack removes to, but normally it's optional and can leave it attached during transformation in this configuration it need to be removed :)

But It can be done without partsforming, but this is the easiest way ;)

Well I could leave them in the back of the legs, but it'll look awful :p

    exactly :D

Yup could remain on the legs, but like I already said it's fugly!

Hahah... yeah all the seekers, conehead's + classics prime... and so on ;)

    thnx!

    thank you sir :D

If you follow the link to my previous thread SQ7 has posted another link which has a youtube video explaning how and where to cut a 5mm hole in the canopy assembly
(just below the landinggear and between the hinge-joint)

I'd still like to see a mod for this so that the thrusters did not need to be removed for transformation. The regular way does not require the thrusters to be removed.

This is cool though, and I thank you for the inspiration. I'm gonna get to work on attaching the thrusters to the bottom of the back panel.
