I wish they'd use those molds to make different characters instead of "power up" figures all the time. This could have easily been WFC Ultra Magnus and... um.. two other figures.

Fuck that. I was thinking of buying this, but not paying 40$ for hardly-repaints of figures I already have. This is almost as bad as the 25$ for a scout 3 pack.

I think I might bite. I happen to own the two other WfC figures (Soundwave and Cliffjumper), so this set would allow me to own all five in one swift purchase.

Plus, I like that blue on the Bumblebee SOOOOOOOOOOO much better than the original red detailing. It will help offset him from my CJ.

TRU needs to make grab bags for their exclusive multipacks...there's been so many I want one or two figures from and would gladly pay the full prices for mixed and matched sets :p

    You and me both.

I'm interested, but not $40 interested. Under $30 and I'll bite. A good coupon and a sale should make that possible, especially with how often they e-mail me Rewards coupons.

A Question to the Pros here:

In the near past, Hasbro Called Transformers Animated with the Shortcut "TRA" in the listing. How do you know that this is Generations this time? Thx :)

TRA doesn't stand for animated, it just stands for Transformer. All of the boxes say TRA, and then the line.

While this looks cool, are they ever gonna release more figures from the game?? Id love to see Brawl, Warpath, Ironhide, and Zeta get a release, as well as the jets, and leader class Trypticon and Omega Supreme. Sorry if the answer is common knowledge, Im always behind on these things, either way the box set looks pretty awesome will have to keep me eye out for it

Agree with needing moar figs from the game.

Are those done completely in translucent plastic?

I agree to a point. Technically, it's the same as buying 3 deluxe figures at regular price. However, these multi-packs have historically tended to offer a bit of a bonus buy by offering the figures for a nice deal.

That scout 3 pack is a laughable joke. What's worse, is that they're still hanging around at that price!

3 deluxe figures should run $30. That's offering a nice set. $35 is still acceptable, though not quite such a sweet deal. $40 isn't insane by any means but it's disappointing to say the least.

It's not as bad as the Cyberverse/Legion set. I REALLY don't get that one! I want to...just not for that price. Not even with a coupon. I don't think that one should have been a penny over $35...$30 if they were offering any kind of deal. Too bad Target or Walmart didn't get these, then we'd get some better pricing!

This would have been much better if they were all in black. Those Japanese releases are sweet, shame it could not be done here. I would have bit on this if they were black. Also, someone mentioned a UM paint job. This would have been even cool too. These are just too close to the original colors.

I don't work there, but I asked someone once. I forget if it just means that they checked the stockroom on that day and there weren't any in the back to put on the shelf, or if they actually ordered some from the distribution center on that day since there weren't any in the back to put on the shelf.

I like the decos, but it is a rather "meh" price. Of course, it's TRU, so that's not surprising.
