Cool, I hope these sell well and maybe pave the way for future US reissues.

    Nice pics !

Question though : To the ones who have G1 Bombshell ; do his knees actually bend back a bit, as seen in these new pics ?

    Uh...

    *goes to check*

...no... not really at all. It's hard to say for certain, but the picture on Actoys might just be taken from a misleading angle. There's a little bit of play in those joints, but nothing that could be considered a true back-bending knee.

    Thanx for checking !

I guess it'll take a review of these TRU reissues to either confirm or debunk working knees....

I have all three, loose, in a surprisingly good condition, I can tell you that Bombshell's knees don't bend to the front on their own.

Insecticons are one of the icons of transformers, and seeing them reissued just confirms that. Everyone who buys them will get more than their's money worth IMO.

the legs can move back just a little espeically if he's a bit play worn, helpfull in gettting one with loose joints to stand a bit better.

not my best pic as i'm about to leave for work, but thats about all the "give" he has:

Nice to see they didn't add the safety dots to the end of kickback's wings and kept 'em nice and sharp like the original toy! Can't wait to buy this!

Perhaps the most unnecessary reissues so far. You can buy complete, good quality 1985 Insecticons on ebay for 10-15$, by the dozen.

What's next, they'll reissue the JUmpstarters?

I have a few ideas on what they SHOULD reissue:

-Gnaw (he's too expensive as a G1 toy (70$) to use as a Sharkticon army builder)

-Shockwave (if the KO companies could reissue it, so can Takara, and please let the price be under 100$)

-Grandslam/Raindance - Beastbox/Squawktalk four-pack (these guys are rare and expensive right now, and new collectors would love them - casettes are very popular)

-Japanese Dinocasettes Gurafi/Noizu and Dial/Zauru (not only are they incredibly cool toys but most people would give their kindneys away to get them... I'm certain Takara must have the molds, if they still have other 1987 exclusive toy molds like Richochet and Soundblaster)

-Star Saber (another toy both Japanese and US collectors would want)

... and I could go on.
