    Guys and gals,

Tuck these new Toys "R" Us skn numbers away for later....

    - TF Cinema Scene: SKN#476272
    - TF Allspark Blaster: SKN#476280
    - TF Allspark Battles: SKN#476334

    - Animated Deluxe Ast: SKN#493859
    - Animated Voyager Set SKN#494440

No prices were available, but I expect them to retail the same as deluxes and voyagers do in the previous TF lines. More info as I get it....

Sweet. I can't wait for this line to come out. I'm thinking that the "Cinema Scene" will be the 2-pack preview thing that was mentioned at one point.

I would just about guarantee they are out by Christmas regardless of what a Hasbro representative says b/c it's just not good business now-a-days to release toys months after the show airs on TV (TF Animated debuts in December with the movie that is likely the first few episodes strung together). As a business, you want the toys to be available as soon as the show begins at the latest. That way, when the kids (or collectors) watch the show, they can immediately go get what they want before they lose any interest.

I think he means SKU, they are identification numbers for items in store or soon to be they all serve the same purpose. I can not wait to see all the new animated voyager and deluxe toys, hopefully they come out before Christmas.

Just because they're in the system doesn't mean they're gonna be in stores anytime soon. Keep that in mind, I'd hate for people to get excited and think they'll have Animated figures by Christmas.

Not to question you or anything but wasn't there a rumor about action figures getting price hikes because new safety measures had to be put in place because of all the lead paint stuff?

I can't remember what the exact thing was, but, from what I can remember, I think that it had nothing to do with Hasbro, and just Mattel (though I could be wrong). Even then, from what I can remember, the price difference wouldn't be much (10% if my memory is correct).

I'm totally going to pick up Animated Starscream and Grimlock, what I've seen of their models look freekin' awesome. Even if Starscream has a chin that would put Jay Leno to shame.

SKN is just TRU's version of SKU. Same idea. Much like Target's DCPI, the number is specific to Toys R Us.

If there is a price hike, that will be up to the retailers who are doing their own testing, not the toy makers who are making the toys.

Thus if a deluxe costs $11.99 next year at WalMart, that would be WalMart trying to make ammends for the cost of testing toys, not Hasbro. Hasbro has had amazing quality assurance for years in terms of child safety. Except for that Easy Bake Oven incident last year. :)
