The last two TRU reissues were Perceptor, and the Insecticon tri-pack. Is there anything due for 2010 and when will it come out? Anybody have any knowledge?
I don't want this to be a wish-list, or guess-list. But if anybody has any info please post here. I enjoy visiting local TRU once in a while and seeing a new G1 Transformer on the shelf, but so far there hasn't been anything since February when I picked up Perceptor.

None that we know of, but it's a possibility. Probably won't know anything till Botcon, though any reissue news we get from there will probably just be an overall comment about the possibility of reissues happening later in the year. Then if there are any we probably won't see/hear anything concrete till SDCC.

Personally I'd like to see another store get a reissue or two. There just isn't a TRU close enough to me to justify the trip, and it's never been reliable when it comes to exclusives. Target would be nice, but it always seems to be TRU when it comes to reissues (possibly because they're the only one's interested in releasing them).

The only reissue I heard confirmation of so far is the San Diego Comic Con's G1 Blaster reissue.

Seeing that TRU reissues don't really sell that well compared to other current TF lines, it's really hard to forecast if any other TRU reissues will be produced for 2010.

It's only the 2nd quarter of 2010, so you never know?

We still have Summer and Fall and I hope something is planned to commemorate Transformers 2010: Headmasters for all the G1 fans.

My reissue wish list would include any or all of the Headmasters and even the G1 Dinobots (at least Grimlock) to go with the USA version of MP Grimlock.

My guess would be that TRU is tired of their "exclusive shelfwarmers"

But that is just about every TRU exclusive.

I wouldn't count on it being a regular feature of TRU.

LOL No one else has put out TF reissues in the US except Toys R Us. I think out of the whole Commemorative series, there's one exception. It's been a regular feature of TRU.

Anyway, aside from Toy Fair's news of the Blaster reissue, nothing may be in line as far as the US goes. But it's pretty easy to see what's possible going by what Takara's reissued.

Scalper bait falls under a different set of rules though.

TRU has to look at this from multiple angles. I have bought items there that I would have gotten elsewhere, but since I was there getting the reissue anyway.....you get the idea. Exclusives get people in the doors.

That being said, isn't about time to make Artfire so that Ricochet/Stepper has a friend on my shelf?

    Ebay:
The Animated seem to be TRU's exclusives for this year along with all the repainted ROTF two-packs.

TFs are still hot for now which should help G1 reissues if any, likely Q4 before holiday season

Yea, wait till Botcon, but we already have Grimmy, TFA Ironhide, and TFA Rodimus confirmed to TRU, so there may not be too many more given the glut of Movie Exclusives crowding their shelf space. I can't beleive the last two reissues have been pegwarmers in other places. They flew off the shelves here within days everytime they restocked. And not just at one store, the whole area.

Not in my area...both Perceptor & Insecticons sold out rather quickly...
