Did he come with stickers for you guys or am i just an unlucky on that didnt get them in my box ? If he was suppose to come with some do you think Hasbro will send me some if i email them and tell then i didnt get any ?

Yep, stickers are already on the toy. But his missile launcher is rendered useless. There's no spring. or is it just mine? :(

No, the launcher doesn't work for anyone's reissue Perceptor. I do find it kind of funny that Perceptor comes with 3 missiles that both can't fire and can't be stored anywhere on the robot :lol

They nerfed the missile launcher for safety reasons. It was either remove the firing capability, or remold the missiles.

    What he said.

And I wished that all G1 Reissues have their stickers factory applied, as I absolutely suck at applying stickers on them. :(

All TRU re-issued Transformers have none-firing missiles. :(
Which makes buying the Japanese version more fun! :D

Ahh ok thanks guys :)  i wasnt sure if he had stickers ..
As for the launcher, open that sucker up and put a spring in it from a pen. Works like a charm.

Yeah, ol' Perceptor didn't have much to apply in the way of labels. PA's advice for springs is really cool, too, I must say :)

I just got him myself can't find the insecticons yet sadly but what a great figure.

Its fun playing with a g1 figure even if its a reissue that is still nice and minty tight joints.

I do keep mine in the box for display but since its such nice packaging and they do the insert that opens i just open it up to fiddle with him.

Not true. The earliest Hasbro reissues (Prime, Magnus, Jazz - and Starscream, Skywarp and Thundercracker) all had remoulded, larger missiles (to comply with safety laws) which did fire. Fan backlash resulted in Hasbro keeping the original length and removing the launching feature.

Although I buy almost exclusively Takara reissues, I don't see a problem with non-firing missiles. After all, most of the original 1980s figures had all-but-inert launchers anyway.

Yeah just open the launcher and get a cheap spring from a pen. Got to find the right size spring though cuase most pen springs are wide these days but old style papermate pens should work. Just cut the spring in half and then stretch it out a little and hook it inside the launcher.. Just dont aim them at anyone cause the suckers come out with force LOL, you could probably shoot a rocket a good 25 feet lol. I havent fixed any of my new reissues but as a kid i did it with all my G1 launchers.

I wanted Perceptor but couldn't get him the one time I saw him.

I didnt think he had many stickers.

About the missiles, I would rather them look good displayed and like G1 rather than them have to look like those Iron Man snot balls or those Gi Joe ROC missiles.
