Heads up, and thanks to BraveMax for the info (he also noted on it in the Takara thread seperately). TRU Japan is offering a G1-style carded World's Smallest Bumblebee to the first thirty shoppers who buy 5,000 Yen worth of TF movie toys. I believe this promo starts August 9th.

    Reference as seen here:

Maybe not "first 30". It just says basically that certain stores will carry the promotion and that of the people that buy over 5000 yen worth of movie toys, 30 will get those Bumblebees. The process isn't really made clear.

Can people in US get this by any chance?

I love items like these: The WSTF Hot Rod, the carded vintage styled Star Wars Kubricks, and even the new 25th Joes and eHobby G1'ers are like that. They're items that just feel so familiar, but are actually really different.

Tell me about it. Between movie Bumblebee stuff and G1 revival Bumblebee, I'm quickly running out of room for anything else.

The only WSTF I have is Starscream, and he was cheep(ish) at Botcon. I like the line, they're really cute and it's cool how toys that small work, but i doubt this one would be worth the trouble (or money) to track down.

Is there any difference between this version of Bumblebee and the previous World's Smallest version, other than the packaging?
