Transformer Action Figure 2-Pack - Hasbro - Toys "R" Us
my guess would be teh repainted 2deluxe two packs
The yellow box ones like Bumblebee/Thrust, Sideswipe/Barricade, etc.? Aren't those Target exclusives?
oh, i didnt know that...my bad...then i have no clue either
Yep, they are... Maybe the "Bombing Run Battle" or that one with the Brawl and Legends Jolt repaints?
Going off the price and product dimensions, I would hazard a guess at them being Deluxe class 2-packs.
I don't know, as there are no pictures nor description posted when I checked the site, only that its 19.99 and that its a 2-pack action. Quite informative >.>
I would guess the deluxe/legends two packs. Since the deluxes are 11.99 and legends are what 4.99/5.99 then add 2 bucks as an exclusive markup?
I'm not sure what price the Deluxe & Legends 2-packs are (they're Walmart exclusives), but the Target exclusive Deluxe 2-packs cost $19.99 each. Though this is TRU we're dealing with, so a mark-up definitely wouldn't be out of the question...
i was just about to post this. the cybertron mode iron hide is also up on the website.
Was that announced at Botcon or something? I'm not interested in buying those silly packs, but I would like to update the upcoming/current release list with this info.
I'll have to find the thread again, but Walmart listings were found for them, and their assortment.
Edit: Here it is-
It ain't the HFTD Deluxe VS packs and it ain't the Deluxe VS Legends two packs.
Assuming its HFTD themed, there's not very many choices here. Hasbro posted all their planned HFTD exclusives on their site for the contest rules a while back-
Starscream Assault (Voyager Screamer repaint VS sandy Mudflap)
Bombing Run Battle (Deluxe Cannon Bee repaint VS legends Grindor)
Desert Ruins Brawl (Deluxe Brawl VS Legends Jolt)
Hunters Rumble (Sideswipe/Barricade)
High Speed Spy Battle (Sideways/Ice Cream Twins)
Crash Landing Attack (Thurst/Bumblebee)
Rotorwash Rumble (Tail Whip/Arcee)
The Victory of the Fallen (Legends Prime/Megs/Jetfire/Fallen/Screamer)
Constructicon Devastator (G1 Legends Devy repaint)
Stuff we've seen with no store-
Sideways Sneak Attack (Sideways/Arcee Triplets)
Megatron Rising (Megatron/Constructicons)
Rampage Among the Ruins (Bee/Ravage/Rampage)
Stuff we haven't seen-
The Fury of Bonecrusher
The Ravage Infiltration
I figure it has to be either the Bonecrusher or Ravage sets, whatever they may be.
That would definitely make sense.
Would help if we knew who the other figures in the sets were. The FoB set could, theoretically, contain Ironhide or one of the Arcee triplets. The RI...maybe the other figure is a repaint meant to represent one of the N.E.S.T. vehicles? (Brawn's mold maybe?). We'll have to wait and see.
I e-mailed their customer service earlier today asking if they could tell me which figures it is.
I notice the item is now out of stock...
Did you think it was ever in-stock? It wasn't and it certainly wouldn't make much sense if it was. We've seen TRU.com's awesome handling of TF preorders, so I'm also glad it wasn't either.
DN beat me to it, as he and I have chatted about these exclusives for a while. This could always be a Generations set, but Hasbro's given no indication of exclusives for stuff like that. Then again, look at how the Universe three-pack has turned out so far.
If it's not the Bonecrusher or Ravage set(s), I'm betting on Generations.
I'm hoping this is the Bonecrusher set. Still waiting to hear about that and the Rampage one.
We've can have us Thundercracker and Skywarp 2-pack isn't Boney or Ravage sets.
The The Fury of Bonecrusher or The Ravage Infiltration sets could be this set if they are 2-packs. I had forgot about them. Something else I thought about is this could be some sort of set like those Star Wars Transformers sets earlier this year. Weren't they just two of those figures at a slightly cheaper price?
I would think the Megatron Rising set will also go to TRU with Sideways Sneak Attack and Rampage Among the Ruins going to either Wal-Mart or Target, maybe in that order. I wish they would have let us know at SDCC instead of just having them listed as exclusives. Other than Primes Comic-Con was a bust this year.
