I stopped at the TRU in Madison, WI this morning and found a bunch of exclusive Titanium 3" 2 packs on the pegs. The pack includes G1 Prime and Bumblebee with a special metallic finish. TRU wants $10.99 for the pack, which is kind of a rip considering the 3" figures normally go for $4.99 each.

Wow, did something actually make it all the way to a retail shelf without pictures or reports of it leaking first?

Can't really tell from the pic -- do they look significantly different from the regular versions?

Metallic finish. That's all. I really had to look close to see a difference. IMO.. if you own the figures already, its not worth buying again.

Nice find, I too am impressed that something we've never heard of made it all the way to store shelves without anyone knowing about it beforehand...but in no way worth $11.

Sounds like the originals are going up for customization... for most folks.

I'm on the opposite side, I want a set for my MISB Bumblebee collection and perhaps an opened one as well.

I now demand a Bugbite and Nemesis Prime as well as Cliffjumper and Ultra Magnus all done in the same format! XD

Seriously though, I like the look of these, will definately be picking them up.

It's funny. I just got the originals as a gift from my Mom when she found them at AAFES on clearance. Unless they look remarkablly different, I'll probably pass on these.

I wonder how much they are without the $1.50 or so grace premium Toys R Us charges on everything from Legos to Barbies for giving you the "pleasure" of shopping there

I think we're all missing the good part- it's new 3" tits. We haven't had that in how long now? (yeah yeah, repackaged and barely repainted, but it's SOMETHING dammit!)

I might get it if the metallic looks nice enough. I'm a sucker for metallic.

Well all 3 TRU's around here sell Deluxes for $10.99 instead of $9.99 like everyone else. So this really doesn't come as a surprise.
