Well that\'s just...Prime.

 

I unboxed the new Mp-10, and I am disappointed by the tray. It is only a bottom half and the toy is not protected like MP-36 was. Here is a picture of the toy and tray taken out of the box.

 

Whereabouts in California was this spotted? I checked the sightings thread and didn't see anything.

 

Did they fix the chest/cab windows to where they do not damage the chrome on the truck bumper that goes inside in robot mode?

 

Also, this appears to be a reissue of the Hasbro Masterpiece Optimus Prime, just in a spiffy new box.

I hear ya, guys.
I paid around $200 a couple of years ago, but for the Takara version. Total for that BBTS order was just a hair over $400, and landed me TT Prime AND Magnus. I regret nothing. It's gorgeous, and I prefer the Takara packaging, anyway. $160 for this is absurd, especially considering the first TRU release was $120.

 

To be fair.. Mp TRU prime was 99 at release. So this price is absurd.

 

Does this mean there is hope they release some of the other SDCC exclusives at their stores (A-Force anyone)?

At this point the market should be fairly saturated with this mold. I could be wrong but I wouldn't be surprised if a few of these guys sit on the shelves at my local TRU for a while at this price point. I just paid 80.00 for a loose Takara MP10, complete but with a loose rivet from the headlight piece (which can be a trouble some piece on any version of this mold) So it's crazy to me that they still want 160 for this guy and people already trying to flip him for 200/250 on ebay.

 

I wonder if they fixed the windshield screw issue with this release.
