Found at the TRU in Columbia, MD.
Dang, you beat me to it. Seen at 10am and was about to post
Found at woodlands tx tru
I found four in PA around an hour ago, I didn't think they were supposed to be in stores yet.
I know that the online pre-orders have started shipping so I guess stock hit their brick and mortar warehouses too.
In any event I only saw the last MP-10 twice so I made sure to secure this one.
Wait, the working name on the receipt says "CNVY"? As on "Convoy", his Japanese name? Huh.
Nice. Hopefully whoever wants a copy of this mold can get there hands on one
I'm impressed by that compact box, Hasbro! Looks barely larger than a Leader box, at least by these pics. That price though...yikes.
Any pictures of the actual figure out of box yet?
So is it just a reissue, or with updates? I have MP-10, so this may not be worth anything to me.
I don't have any pictures, but this figure is nigh identical. The only differences I could spot between this and the older 2012 Hasbro Masterpiece Optimus are mainly evident in the trailer. The walls of the interior of the trailer (which become the floors of the battle station mode) are painted silver. The chrome on the figure itself (smokestacks, grills, etc.) also appears to be brighter, more chromier than the older 2012 figure, but that could just be the age of the older figure diminishing its chrome. Roller's tiny top flap is only painted blue on the outside. The energon axe is made of a softer plastic and is one piece instead of having the shaft being able to disconnect from the base as in the 2012 figure. Optimus' waist hinge is blue instead of red. Spike's hair and boots seem to be lighter shades of brown and yellow respectively.
Again, I wish I could provide pictures to showcase the relatively few differences.
Having MP-10 already I'm most interested in how he's packed in there haha; MP-10's box is gigantic. This looks a little slimmer.
That's nice to hear the inner trailer is painted this time. I know $150 is a lot but that's like $10 cheaper than I paid shipped for MP-10 the release before last.
As much as I love MPs I\'ve learned never again to pay full price plus tax, a bit later and they will available on the forums for almost half the cost. I still have the TRU version with the matrix MISB and I got him for $130 on the forums last year
He's boxed in robot mode, lying on a plastic tray with his gun, axe, Roller, and Spike situated around him. The trailer takes up the other half of the same tray. The box feels off-balance because of the trailer being completely on one side. The box itself is maybe half an inch taller than a Leader class box. Width and depth are the same.
Spotted him at the TRU near the Florida Mall in Orlando earlier today.
That said though, for 160 dollars ?
Forget it Hasbro.
Don't need it.
I already have YOTH Optimus.
160 dollars? Your doing a really good job at keeping me away from the MP line Hasbro; keep it up.
Hang on that service fee ain't right...should be $5.00!!!
