Entertainment Earth - Toys "R" Us

Is this something new or have I been under a rock?

I order from TRU, but never from EE... any good experiences with EE.

Is this a good "partnership" or a divorce waiting to happen?

Personally speaking, given TRU's struggles over the last decade, I think this is a good venture for them. As for EE, I think it may be a good way to get their image a bit more "out there" in the public eye a bit more.

I've never personally ordered from EE, but I get their catalogs in the mail from time to time. I don't have any reservations from ordering from them, other than that they tend to be a tad more expensive on things it seems.

I've found EE to be a very reliable source for case assortment information.

Well it explains a lot about seeing whole waves up on TRU for sale for about a week now. I thought it was weird when it started to happen, but makes a whole loy of sense now.

I foresee this coming out like the Amazon/TRU partnership did.

Nah, not really, I'm just being cynical. I have no idea.

Makes sense. It helps TRU diversify a little bit. Plus they announced decent numbers lately, even during the recession, which may help their upcoming IPO.

I've never ordered from Entertainment Earth, but I do get their catalogs on occasion. I just recently got one that has the very first wave of the Generations toys in which I'm going to try and order so that way I don't have to shop all over the place to get those figures.

This is the first I've heard of this, too. Interesting.

I've ordered from EE a handful of times. They have some very cool exclusives. While their prices aren't often great, they're very reliable -- secure packing and quick shipping.

I got my Cybertron Primus from EE about 5 years ago, I think. Came right to my doorstep. No complaints here.

I did a preorder with EE for shadow command megs...right when he first got released retail..>BAM...on my door...and they charged $54..so $5 over MSRP...and i think $7 shipping...so yeah i can vouch they are ok...well packaged and shipped fast...plus they will send you toy catalogs that they publish for tons of different lines of collectibles...

I been ordering from EE for almost 8 years and I think they are a great company. I mostly order Star Wars stuff from them. Only knock on them is that it takes longer for them to get the stock in than their other competors.
