It may be a dumb questio so bear with me... but I always thought that TRU Commemorative edition only came in one kind of packaging, namely US/UK with bio & tech specs. I got a nice number of Commemorative both from within and outside Europe, but the box designs/prints have always been the same... untill today. I recieved a Commemorative Starscream from Spain, however I have never seen that kind of packaging ! multilingual ! it has short bio's in 6 languages and different box art, but no techspec's.. It just makes me wonder if I actually was hasbro's intention to make them available in mainland Europe (excl. UK) ? We never saw then in the Nordic countries.
I bought a com reis hotrod on ebay like that. I assumed that was the euro release. Anyway he has been opened and played with and is fine as can be, a great toy.
It's interesting because there aren't really any EU release anywhere... Starscream and Hot Rod (Rodimus Major) are the only one I've heard of... maybe they were made in really small numbers and never hit the market as such ?
well you can add prime to your list in my case i was pretty dissapointed that i didnt notice the variant box art. it ment that i had to buy a US prime to match all the rest of my commemoratives.
I've got a few Euro ones... Starscream, Prime, Hot Rod (Rodimus), Ultra Magnus and Powermaster Prime. I can take pics if people want.
