I think people are more concerned as to whether Toys R Us is actually going to release these now, or if the sale/release date has been changed back. So all the people that ordered were under the assumption all is well, but TRU may be changing that.

Same here with the 'your order is shipping' e-mail. Looks like TRU decided that people who got in their orders when the listings were up fell under the 'alright to sell early if the items are on the shelves' exception that Hasbro allowed for the streetdate.

 

I got the same e-mail as well, maybe they learned from the CS Soundwave fiasco

EDIT: I guess now I know why Ohio's been getting all these early releases, the items that I ordered from TRU are all coming from Ohio

 

OMG mine was shipped too!!! awesome!!   the 16th is my estimated arrival date!? it's in NJ right now. bleh I am only 40 mins from there.

 

No e-mail in my mail box saying anything has been shipped yet.

To my knowledge, TRU.com hasn't played Cancel Shenanigans* with items that were listed as in stock and ready to ship. Just preorders. Or have I missed a fiasco?

Out of curiosity, did the folks who've already gotten shipping notices use Google Checkout or TRU.com's checkout?

Yeah, my Legends Barricades have been shipped, they should be here Thursday. This is good news.

 

I used TRU.com's checkout, since I wasn't ordering enough to get the benefit from the Google checkout.

Seeing the other replies so far about who used Google and and got shipping notices (as well as the one so far who has noted not getting one), which checkout was chosen appears to not be a determining factor on things going smoothly for this situation.

 

Appears that Toys R Us has Optimash Prime in stock! Yay!

And he is only $9.99 and FREE SHIPPING! Only came to $10.84... alot cheaper than some listings on EBay. It shows IN STOCK. I assume that, if they could not sell this, they would have taken it off like they did with the other items from this posting.
