Okay, so I have the major cassettes already.
Rumble, Frenzy, Laserbeak, Ravage, Overkill (Dinosaur one) and the three for Blaster.
However, for Soundwave, I want to troop build.
I've been thinking about the E-Hobby Cobalt blue repaints of Ravage, and was wondering if the KO clear ones are any good? They seem to have a variety of different clear ones to choose from including now a set of like 8 of them in various colors.

So, what do you think? Who troop builds cassettes? Got pictures? Are the KO cassetttes just as good as the other KO's I've purchased? Such as Mirage, Sunstreaker, Wheeljack, and the 12-pack Mini-Seekers.

Are the KO cassettes good quality?

Ya, lots of cassettes to go before buying duplicates.

    Rumble and Frenzy
    Ravage and Ratbat
    Laserbeak and Buzzsaw
    Overkill and Slugfest
Squawktalk and Beastbox (combining set - Squawkbox)

    Then for the 'bots
    Rewind and Eject
    Steeljaw and Ramhorn
Raindance and Grandslam (another combiner set - Slamdance)

Then there's the uber expensive Japanese dino-cassettes:
Dairu and Zauru (Dial and Saur) (combiner - Legout)
Gurafi and Noizu (Graphy and Noise) (combiner- Decibel)

So many cassettes and I love them all... if I only had those dino-cassettes, I'd be uber happy with an uber-empty bank account.

    What made them low-quality?

    Issues included:

Loose joints, heads either didn't stay down, or were jammed to the point that wouldn't move at all. I'll fitting peg holes on the weapons, chrome finish was a little spotty.

I vaguely recall the stickers being a little thin too.

    They may have improved since.

The clear ones are pretty good for KO. Had a set of clear and clear orange, pretty good stuff.

I've got most of the knock off cassettes (about 12) and besides Ratbat being loose and some stickers falling off I'd say they were worth the money

I guess it depends on when you bought them which batch you'll get. Thanks guys!
I doubt I'll ever get those Dino-cassettes from Japan. Sounds just as rare as my Kaltors.
Plus, I didn't care for that design or the idea of having dino-cassettes anyway. I think Rumble, Frenzy, and Ravage are my three favs.

I'd add in the Perfect Effect homages before KOs of the G1 molds. That's just me.
