I actually dug Sandstorm. The orange was sleek and I liked how he transformed. Only inconsistency was the rear copter blades were at the end of the dune buggy, but I guess he could blow away sand or have a little more propulsion.

Blitz broke easily, didn't he? I think I used to have him.
I suppose he could use his tank turret in plane mode as an underside blaster.
Too bad he didn't have real feet though.

I wonder if Astrotrain will tie the vote with Blitzy.

Blitzwing, two powerful alt modes and plus the Animated take of the character made him fun too.

Must ask Teletran, "What is the definition of an animated take?"

Broadside for the shear incredulity of him stuck with the alt modes he has with the phobias he has.

The Animated take had him with a case of multiple personality disorder. Tank form was used when he was in his angry personality. Then the jet was used with his calm personality mind. His crazy side scan both vehicles, when the angry and calm personalites were fighting between jet and tank.

Then robot mode, his head would take on different looks depending on his mood. A fun new edition to add to the over all character's history IMO.

Jetbolt, if this is the G1 cartoon, people must really break animation sequences down to the frame. I thought I was crazy doing the Transorganic poll.
Is this what makes Blitz a two-faced loudmouth?

Wasn't Broad a funny animation error in "Carnage in C Minor?"
If I remember right, he's larger than a normal Autobot and lifts Galvatron like a kid in the air for damaging him.

Of course, Galvy is larger and lifts Soundwave when he reports he didn't get all of the harmony.

Carnage in C Minor had bad Transformer animation. The singers of the planet were the stars in this episode.

Er, Jetbolt's talking about the Blitzwing that appears in Transformers Animated. Y'know, the recent cartoon?

In other news, I like Sandstorm the best. Why? Because I like helicopters, I like dune buggies, I like the colour orange and I like characters that don't get enough focus.

Likewise. Although the fact that he has land, sea and air sorted with a mode for each gets him huge bonus points too.

I had to vote for Blitzwing.

Back in ye olde G1 days I liked tanks and I liked jets so the Blitzwing toy was just all sorts of fun rolled together.

I know a lot of people didn't like Robot Heroes, but I really liked Blitzwing's Robot Heroes toy because it just seemed so insanely counter to what the comic book was attempting at the time.

Then throw on Animated as icing on the cake. The split personality to explain why all Transformers aren't triple changers was just great. Plus the over the top accent really put him as an almost Beast Wars type of character.

Quick question. Was G1 Scorponok ever considered a triple-changer? He does have three modes, but I've always heard him referred as a Headmaster, not a triple-changer.
Anyway, I like Octane, he had more personality. Even for a Decepticon.

Technically yes, but I think most people put the City-formers in a category of their own.

My fave is certainly Blitzwing, as I love the Mig-25 Foxbat. Such a cool looking aircraft.

I voted for Sandstorm. I was so happy to find out I still have him, I completely forgot about him! Second would be Springer. I never got a chance to get him though :(

... Which then opens the door to two of my favourite figures of all time - Snapdragon and Apeface. Definately triple-changers!
