I only saw the fourth live show recently and was really struck with how much of the concept was recycled into the fifth show. Kinda disappointing, but still had enough laughs to keep me happy. Don't think I've ever seen the film.

Right here! :D  The ferris wheel ep is probably my favourite, followed by Wimbledon Common.

Loved Bottom, althougth I haven't seen it in donkeys years.

I saw Ade Edmondson in one of those woefully unfunny sitcoms about dysfunctional families that the BBC keep making, I hope he got paid well for it.

I think that's been answered as a pretty resounding "NO"

There's Draven's list. All of them are far funnier.
There's Red Dwarf (the earlier series), The Young Ones, Bottom.
    All far more funnier.

I love Bottom (how wrong that saying that)
Saw a couple of the Live shows when they were in Edinburgh and they were great.
Reminds me that I need to watch them again.

As we're still on a Bottom/Young Ones tip, what about Filthy, Rich and Catflap?
It was called 'Guest House Paradiso' if you missed it because it wasn't called 'Bottom: The Movie'. It's worth a look as a Bottom Fan, but it's not cream of the crop. Can't miss out on seeing Eddie fired through a window by Richie's exploding rubber underwear. :p  I picked up everything Bottom on DVD apart from the compilation sets. Was bummed I had to buy a set with both the first and second live shows just to get the second one (I already had the first on DVD).
Teenage Kicks was awful. And he did that one ages ago where he was a doctor which was even worse.

I vaguely remember seeing a bit of the film years ago, but it didn't look too great. By the way, how have we left out the Christmas episode? Richie thinking he's the mother of the new messiah whilst Eddie, Spudgun and Dave Hedgehog bring gifts of Gold, Frankenstein and Grrrr.

I used to love Bottom. I have to say I don't like it as much these days though. Same with Red Dwarf actually. I think watching them to death when I was younger kind of killed 'em for me :(

It's good to leave off watching something for about three years and then go mad with a marathon of them. I went through all of The Young Ones, Filthy, Rich and Catflap and Bottom in a couple of days a few years ago so I'm probably due another session.
Dammit, you're right. Especially the extended version of the episode.
And the Halloween episode. Sprouts of Doom! Guy Fawkes bottom!
Hmm... it might be easier to list the poor episodes of Bottom.

Further proof that Dave is the greatest TV channel ever.
