Well they've been doing it for the past ten years worth of films.

Dreadbot sounds like an awful bank robber
Onslaught should probably share notes with Optimus
    Mohawk seems like the NewFrenzy
Nitro Zeus sounds like a Jaeger name and I am here for that
Berserker sounds like a really nice guy
They're really giving this new team a very ragtag bottom-of-the-barrel feel, which I really like. I wouldn't put money on an epic presence in the film, but I haven't been this pumped for a Decepticon roster in so long.

So TRF isn\'t just killing transformers but incarcerating them. Interesting. They\'re probably holding them their for interrgation purposes in order to any other Transformers left out there. It would explain why Lennox and Megatron are negotiating rather than trying to kill one another. It seem Megatron was trying to make a deal to free those incarcerated, possibly in exchange for his own services in autobot hunting.

Mohawk's design is sweet! I love his fish-head look! Only thing is 14' seems a little tall unless he can extend his legs quite a bit?

So Onslaught is a tactician? Cool!

Berserker sounds like an appropriate name given his description!

This raises as many questions as answers though. I find it interesting that Megatron and Barricade are "under surveillance," most other Decepticons are "in custody," and Berserker is not allowed to be released ever. What, are Onslaught and company let out from time to time? Has TRF failed to capture Megatron and Barricade? Or is TRF actually controlled by the Decepticons and uses their prison as a base of Decepticon operations? It said Onslaught was developing a weapon. Isn't that something TRF would want to stop if Onslaught was an actually dangerous prisoner?

Good idea. It wouldn't surprise me either if the Decepticons were the ones really in charge of TRF and that they were using the organization to eliminate Autobots and use the prison as a base of operations where the "prisoners" are let out from time to time.

these are all amazingly cool and fun, im loving it.

also, based on many of them being in custody, here is my prediction: megs and barricade are on the loose, the government needs megs help, which is why they/lennox meet with him, possibly to eliminate cade/autobots and agree to release the imprisoned cons to aid him.

*incoherently grumbles about the fact we\'re probably not getting a toy of the awesome VW bus Decepticon*

EDIT: *realizes the fact they had to change Hooligan's name to something more trademark friendly means they might be releasing a toy after all in a HFTD-esque post-Movie line*

Yeah but this Onslaught is not "The Onslaught" as in a combaticon. Therefor it's a name slap IMO.

IMG_7361.JPG IMG_7362.JPG IMG_7363.JPG The weapon Hooligan "Dreadbot" has is the same weapon type that this guy in DOTM had. Sounds like it works the same way in obliterating the targets.

I'm the biggest combaticons fan on the planet and I as far as I'm concerned this is THE movieverse onslaught.

I can see calling it a name slap (even if I don't agree that there is such a thing) when the character has nothing to do with the original. But onslaught here is not only green and listed as a tactician, but also has a tone of guns, and pipes on his back that reference his back cannons.

"Dreadbot" is very unlikely to be a Hasbro trademark-friendly name - more likely it's another production name, like Hooligan.

I mean, if these profiles were coming through Hasbro, you'd be seeing "Decepticon Nitro" rather than "Nitro Zeus".

I guess they figured we'd learn nearly nothing about these characters in the movie so they had to release these cards.
