I promised myself I was not going to collect movie toys, I said "all I want is an 08 Bumblebee, that's it."

A few days ago I found the two pack, so I got '08 BB and '77 or what ever BB, then today, I see Barricade (for the first time in a store no less) and buy him for myself... and that Decepticon pickup truck and Autobot tow-truck are starting to look pretty cool to me too... I want to get them too...

lol, seriously they have some pretty cool toys in the movie line. My son has most of them. The only thing I don't like about them is the joints seem to become loose pretty quickly.  

Guess they just don't make em like they used to.  

 

Oh shit... I forgot I had G1 repaint Jazz too - he's in the filing cabinet in my office.

 

 

Don't worry man, once you get the movie cast, it'll be a lot easier to quit...

I'm almost there DC. As the stores are slowly restocking movie toys, it's getting harder and harder to turn em down

 

Arcee, Dropkick, and Longarm are probably the best non movie character molds, if not some of the best in the entire line

 

I know how you feel DC. I swore I'd only buy the Primes and Barricade (since he's a Saleen), but now I have CC Bumblebee, G1 Jazz, G1 Starscream, Rescue Ratchet, Brawl, Leader and Voyager Megatron...forgot I have Ironhide too.

Transformers are like lays potato chips, just can't stop with one.

 

Once I get the lot a friend has for me, I'll have the complete movie cast + Arcee and the 'con Silverado. Had to get the bowtie.   Not really interested in all the clones, until the Osprey comes out that is. I fell in love with it when I saw the cutie at Hasbro show it off for us.

 

Sorta in the same boat, I just wanted Leader Prime and Megs, now I have the cast

 

I myself vowed not to purchase any movie figures for many reasons but the other day i picked up the Elita-1 scout and i've also been eyeing a few others to do repaints of......must resist, wallet crying already

 

It's not so bad if you just get the mainline movie figs and not all the misc stuff. Some are RID like and that's a good thing

I dunno though, FAB Prime and the Prime arm blaster are pretty sweet.

 

I applaud your courage. I've been fighting myself tooth and nail over picking up a Longarm, because I'm retired, damn it. (Leastwise till Classics 2.)

 

I'm a sucker for realistic alt modes. RID had a few toys I just had to own. Aside from Alts and classics, I was able to pass on pretty much all the main lines since due to the unrealisticness of the vehicles. As soon as I saw the movie toys the first time in stores, I ended up buying all the main cast. A little later, I picked up Longarm, Swindle, Dropkick, and Dreadwing. I'll be glad to see Animated come around with all the unrealistic alt modes so I can leave them hanging on the pegs.

 

That's part of the problem for me too - I am an absolute sucker for realistic alt modes.

 

You gotta watch those movie toys they will grow on you.

 

Originally i was just going to get Prime and Megatron. Then I decided to get the cast. Now Ive decided to get one of every character.

I hate the way the bots looked in the movie, but the toys are pretty cool.
