Good idea, but I doubt it.

I'd totally buy a Jhiaxus, tho. He needs a toy that isn't a BM repaint.

Good idea, but extremely unlikely. If we're lucky I think we may see one or two designs actually make it to toy form at some point in the Universe line. Maybe one of the two or so that actually made it to the prototype stage. Starscream and Cheetor are two that I know got that far, so if they still have those prototypes it wouldn't be too hard to then take those and churn those guys out. It'd at least be a lot easier than attempting the one's that were only in the design sketch phase. Though that's assuming that they still have the prototypes.

While I'm glad you are excited about this idea, it's never going to happen. If there's going to be a special, exclusive, HTS line, they will be repaints only.

We need Transtech Shockwave, if only so Vangelus can own a toy of himself.

Even though your post nearly made my head explode in frustration, Transtech sounds like it'd be an amazing toyline.

maybe Hasbro will revisit the concept later in the decade (2010 or so) once the memory of BM fades from fans minds

I could see it someday if they just reheaded some animated toys with armada-cybertron heads. Like bendy prime to animated cybby prime, etc.

TransTech would be my dream line. Definately should be a stand-alone, not mixed in with Universe.

I doubt it'd happen, though. The concepts are too different from the established characters that many probably wouldn't appreciate them for their aesthetics. Just think of the people who whine about TF:A not looking like they're used to, so it must be horrible. Same with the movie line in more ways. The ultra-detailed and essentially different characterizations are too radical and just aren't appealing to many.

Another reason I don't think it'll happen is that we're seeing designs loosely based around TT concepts in other lines. Blurr from TF:A is a nod to Cheetor, and Megatron's movie concept artwork for RotF seriously looks TT inspired.

On the opposite end, if these designs are liked, then TT may see the light of day. Sadly, I doubt it though. Seeing TT fleshed out as actual figures would make my millennium.

BotCon 2009 set will be Transtech, bet it.

and besides, several of the figures have been made in one form or another...Armada Megatron and Savenger come to mind right off.

Botcon 2009 set? Seeing as how TT is a club comic, it would almost make sense. Horrible, horrible sense.
Unfortunately, aren't all Botcon sets just repaints of existing molds? If so, there aren't any current figures that could truly be TransTech in style and detail. I'd find great digust in Hasbro slapping a new paint scheme on another A/E/C figure, tagging it a TT figure then charging an astronomical fee for it.

This is extremely important and bears repeating!!

    (I want selftoys. ;_; )

I'm happy enough with how many Transtech design homages there already are out there, regardless. :D
