This thread will contain detail shots of the Transtech Starscream 3D model I entered in this year's Botcon art contest. I'll start off by reposting the entry itself:

For anyone wondering how the model would look in G1 Screamer's colours, here's a couple of examples:

Early, non-detailed version of the legs in those shots, but you get the idea (the model was originally done in those colours, until someone found concept art showing its actual proposed colour scheme).
I'll put up some detail shots of the model in its finished colurs a bit later; for now, here are a few shots in the G1 scheme, showing some of the details on the jet:

I like it! It also gives me a better feeling for the movie Starscream.

Lightwave. Straightforward radiosity renders, using LW's WaveFilter processing plugin.

AMAZING!!!! I like the G1 colorsy ou did for him too. The color scheme is how I recognize this as star scream since the design is so radically different from the original. Really cool!!! Wish transtech was done instead of RiD.

Jeez dude, you put an awful lot of effort into that thing. Looks great though. Can't wait to see what you cook up for next year's entry.

Wow...people actually wanted TransTech Starscream...and yet they are pitching a fit over Movie Starscream's face?

Don't get me wrong dude...I've never even seen a TransTech figure, and this thing is pretty cool looking...very nice work...I could never do anything like that!

I was just sitting here thinking how odd it was that when I joined the forums, everyone was all about "boo hoo, we are not getting TransTech, and they were gorgeous..."

and Movie Starscream comes along, and everyone whines cause its so far away from G1...

Love the Autobot symbols that symbolize those he has shot down...thats the way it should have been done on Titanium Megatron.

Excellent detail! Would love to see any pics that you based your model on!

Excellent work - I'd still love to see that SS figure released :)

I imagine he used the proto pics that showed up on behindthetoys.com a while back.

What is Transtech? I remember hearing about it a long time ago, but never got a sense of what it was.

It was the proposed toyline and show to follow the events of Beast Machines. Poor fan reaction to the BM series and early leaked designs of TT led to it's cancellation (a pity, I personally liked that the TFs were clearly evolving and becoming more advanced rather than the stagnant 'same old same old' we've had for the last six or seven years).

See some designs here and even some prototype toys in threads here.
