"Is it some sort of rule that all Primes have to be dicks?" In-joke though? Other than Judd Nelson being Roddy in the animated movie and the series before being taken over by Richard Gautier in the third season, what else is there to get? And the Shinki comics are still as funny as the first time I read them.
It has something to do with the joke that Roddy is interrupted in telling (that part is important too) and other roles that Judd Nelson has played. If no one has figured it out by tomorrow when I post the new episode I'll go ahead and tell everyone.
Alright. When deciding how I would set up the first episode I was going to have Bumblebee walk in on one of those wacky punchlines like "So the popsicle says, 'no, I'm blue!'." but the more I thought about it I remembered that in "The Breakfast Club" Judd Nelson's character is trying to escape via the ceiling and is telling this joke, he falls through the ceiling just after saying what Hot Rod said and we never find out what the end of the joke was. I didn't do an obscure reference just to see if anyone could find it, but with my sense of irony and humor, expect other such "easter eggs" in the future. Now... On with teh funnay! Episode 4: Clueless.
