No, that's not a misprint. I've seen a couple of these awful looking things lately, and was wondering if anyone has picked 'em up. They have 3 modes- robot, vehicle, and beast. Looks like most of the parts come off, then back on to form each mode. A couple that I saw were giraffe/ crane, rhino/ drill machine, and lion/ jet(?). 10 bucks each is more than I'm paying for 'em though. No pics, because I didn't buy 'em.

Yeah, sounds like Air Leon and MM-02, along with MM-05.

My curiosity is getting the better of me. I may pick them up to check them out IF they are still there.

I've always been sorely tempted by these myself, actually. Just a lack of money and space has hled me back so far.

    aside

Aside from the letters on the heads , and colors, the robots are pretty neat, they could be Soundwave's Flash cubes if he was an antique camera.

...me too! I had totally forgotten about this for what must be 20 years, but I saw that picture of the green M transformer, and I was like, "WHOA! I had those as a kid!"

...anyone know what exactly the letter-formers are from?

Has anyone picked this set up? I am left wondering what the plastic quality is like. If it just going to fall apart, I'll just invest in the real thing. If they are quality, I can try them out via this route and invest in more real ones if I like them.

Are you asking about real Machine Robo Mugenbine toys or the KOs?

Notice how I said the real things but yeah, well hell, both then, but since noone seems to know much about the knockoffs, I more meant the real deals.

My bad. I guess I didn't read nearly close enough. I read 'how much are these gonna cost me'. Gotta pay more attention to a single task, I do suppose.

There are some available on BBTS for like $15+ each.

Here is the Froogle listing from Google.

The first post states that Big Lots was charging like $10. They also have multipacks avaliable (the figures pictured). I have seen the multipacks at my local Big Lots.

I have read that the quality is so-so. Not great but better than some KOs.
