I'm only going 1 day. I didn't get to see the parts party, so I just stuck to the Dealer room. I want to hit up whatever panel of guests they have.

 

The dealer room and guest panels only happen on Saturday so if you're only planning on attending one day it would have to be that day.

The parts party is always on the Friday night before the Con. (the actual Con being on the Saturday)

yes you can just swap parts but I must recieve a percentage of all trades and sales "kinda like the tf-mafia" lol..

 

Hmmm, sounds cool. I have a few Junker TF and accesories that I wouldn't mind trading for stuff. Is it just accesories or whole TF's too?

 

Collectors swap/sell stuff all kinds bots/parts/junkers ect....... so just bring anything that is up for grabs!!!!!

 

I'm thinking about doing this con as a dealer. Does anyone else on the boards sell at the con? Is it worth doing(travelling about 9 hours). What type of currency is usually used at the event(for exchange rate purposes).

 

It;s worth it if you have alot to sell at a reasonable price. All deals are in Canadian dollars and are in cash. Once again, it's worth it if you have enough stuff to sell. Don't buy a table if you're selling 1 toy  .

 

Most dealers take US money with a varying exchange rate, but I wouldn't recommend giving USD back for change.

 

Well I've done botcon, iacon one, and cybercon before and seem to bring enough stuff there. I mostly have g1 stuff, but I bring lots of loose later series figures. I am also one of the bigger parts dealers(as far as I know) at the shows.

As far as decent prices are concerned, I think I have pretty good prices but I am not the one buying them so it's just my opinion.

 

You'll do very well, people travel from the Maritines to sell at the show. Everything is in Canadian dollars since the Con is in Canada.

 

I have sold at every one I think except for the first one and I can say I always do well "very well" in fact as I sell simular stuff to what you stated.There is people that go to the show from all diffrent places including the U.S so I would really suggest you consider it as it is a good size show and loads of fun!

 

I'm going to be there first time going to this. So it starts on Friday but the dealer room is only open on Saturday so what goes on Friday then? and how much does it cost to get into the convention itself?
