I bought and sold headless bodies for Hosehead and Siren, and later bought complete ones. I originally bought Siren and Nightbeat in a lot together on ebay a million years ago. The seller must have been clueless because Nightbeat had his head and helmet hiding inside despite no mention of this in the auction. NB is the darker green one, and I still have him even though I bought a misb chinese reissue later on. I also bought G1 Grimlock 3 times, but I kept every one. One of the Grimlocks was in another lot and it turned out to be a diaclone. Sorry, I thought this was an awesome ebay stories thread apparently.
Cybertron Scourge, Cybertron Optimus Primal, RiD Skid-Z and Windsheer were all sold in a big lot on eBay when I was low on cash. I had to get Scourge again just because he's freaking awesome! It's a big brick, but I love the design so much that I now own all three of the U.S. released versions. Cybertron Optimus Primal was included in a lot of beast Transformers that I won on eBay several months ago. He's missing a panel, but still displays fine in bot mode. I may get a complete version of him eventually and take it up to three purchased! Skid-Z and Windsheer were the toys that got me into collection TF's. I saw them in the store one day and decided to pick them up on impulse and that got me started! I had to get them back just for nostalgia I guess...

I'm glad to know there are quite many people who buy the same toy they got rid of You know, when I read threads where someone is asking if they should sell their collection, there's always someone mentioning the possibility of starting the collection all over again later. I've been wondering if that actually happens often. As for buying doubles (not "buying back", but buying multiple of the same toy), I only do that with RiD Autobot brothers I really was fortunate that you were the buyer, you've been really kind Since I didn't need the cube or the packaging, this is a happy ending for both of us! I hope I won't be doing that again though, I've got rid of part of my BW II toys and have no intention of getting them again. For now, fingers crossed that I won't decide to start collecting the series after all....
Not toys I've gotten rid of per se, but last year I brought a 2nd red G1 Bumblebee to replace the tyre-less cracked-roof one I've owned since 1985 (it wasn't always in that condition either ).
I've only bought Animated Lockdown and Shockwave (grey version) twice. Both were because of hand issues. I was unaware that Lockdowns hands weren't suppose to open all the way at first and broke his. And with Shockwave, the joint was too tight for his soft rubbery ball joints on his hand and had one rip off. They next one, I quickly loosened the screw on his wrist. I was pissed about it both times.
^I normally don't even do that, I guess the toy failing me like that (not always the toy's fault, I know) kills my interest more or less. I never bothered with ROTF Scalpel again Do you mean you sold him 3 times and buying him again, or you have 4 of them? I don't have him myself but I hear he's not the greatest Soundwave toy!

Outback. Got a 2nd hand one on Ebay a few years ago. But I couldn't resist buying the Encore set with the painted visor. Gave the other one away to a friend's niece who likes TF's. I've always loved Outback mainly because he was my first TF as a kid. One of the few that didn't survive my transition to adulthood. Ironic considering his character and his belief that he's born to be a casualty. So that's actually 3 of him I've had.

I had 2 MP convoys, but sold one now i have: 2 CHUG sunstreakers (1 for normal transformation, one transforms like sideswipe) 2 CHUG acid storms, 1 had the nose fault (doens't close properly in plane mode so i bought a second one.
I have two Animated Bumblebees. One is the "test shot"*winkwinknudgenudge*, and the other is the corrected stinger version I bought later.
I bought 3 ARMADA Optimus Prime's. Standard, Powerlink & costco (Or whatever shop sold it. Although I only bought Costco for the Overload.)
