still going strong!
yay! eat that haters!
Okay, it tolk me awhile for this to sink in: Transformers was more epic and contained more FX than both Spider-man 3 and Pirates 3 yet it's budget was almost half their's (Sm3 $260/ POTC $300).
I guess it pays to have most of your main characters be digital. And, unlike those two franchises, when/if the budget is raised for the Transformers sequels, it will clearly show on film and not line the pockets of the actors.
Eat it P Rangers. It's Transmorphing time bitches
Word mofos. I'm preparing the greatest sig and thread ever, btw.
$66 million is a heck of a lot of money for a movie that hasn't made it to the weekend yet. Unreal. I'm curious as to how the "experts" will rank this opening overall since it started on such an oddball day early in the week.
Add another $36.3 million from the international box office of 10 countries. Makes the box office returns worldwide about $100 million. Did poor in Italy but broke records in Korea.
What's wrong with the Italians?
In the sequel, the AllSpark fragment will invest life in an evil spaghetti making machine and that will shore-up the Itallian ticket sales
For the encore, the Spaghetti Maker will be defeated by an Autobot Pizza Delivery Truck.
The first combiners will be 1) Ham & Pineapple, 2) Sausage and X-tra Cheese, 3) Green Pepper & Tomato, 4) Pepperoni & Black Olives....etc.
And the ravaged Megatron will rise out of the ocean as Megastroni!
Wednesday's Estimates are in, and it is another $30 Million
As seen on Fantasy Moguls
Sequel, here we come. Just gotta get past that damn boy wizard.
Potter will take the lead early on but won't outgross TF. TF is just way too freakin rad.
The title translated to Italian comes out "Your Mother Has A Hairy Back"
Die Hard has only earned 63.5 mil in EIGHT days?
And Transformers has nearly topped that in only 2.5 days?
Correction, Transformers HAS topped that in 2.5 days. Yippee ki yay, mother *gunshot* to that, Bruce.
insert generic italian-accent inflected joke post here.
Congratulations to Transformers the Movie! I still haven't seen it.
So far so good. Hopefully everyone who wants to see it hasn't already gone
