Yeah I hope you're right. I'm a little concerned.

 

That is a legitimate fear.

The way I see it, this game should aspire to at least be fun and playable, if not groundbreaking, because that will ensure that it at least retains some success as a "Transformers" game. The setting and characters and story will ensure that.

It would be great if this game turns out to be a truly "good" game beyond being just a brand name vehicle, but at this point, I'll be happy if they simply don't screw up royally.

Yes, but even if they merely polish what was done with ROTF it would be "Good". ROTF was far from being great, but it was playable and the mechanics worked, it just needed a lot of polish and substance... substance that "not being tied to a movie" could help with.

 

It can still suck and you won't know until you play it.

I hope Cybertron has highways and byways. Energon bars would be cool too!

Still no gameplay, but God damn that kicked ass.

Very pleased they went with a Hugo Weaving-inspired voice for Megatron.
