The Clinton St. Theatre in SE Portland, Oregon periodically plays Transformers: The Movie, and they're at it again! This time it's a double feature of the Go-Bots movie and the Transformers: The Movie. November 20-22.

Last time they played the movie, it was a blast! People were loud and boisterous, and LITERALLY dancing to the music during the credits. This theatre is sells beer and pizza, so the good times keep coming.

I used to own the Go-Bots movie on VHS, but could never sit through it. Now might be the time.

Seriously, if you're in the area, go see this.

Ah, the Go-Bots / Rock Lords movie, I presume? I remember that one, always loved it as a kid. If only because the rocks were in it.

I have them both on the same VHS from the late 80's. They make a fun double feature.

Yeah, but then you don't have an entire theatre full of crazed fans, nostalgic haven't-seen-it-since-I-was-ten fans, and unsuspecting newbies. It's a whole different experience. Heck, it's a whole different experience from the Botcon screenings.

I agree. Many Gobot toys were excellent (Leader-1, Pathfinder, Blaster, Turbo, Cop-tur were some of my favorites), but the cartoon and names were pretty lame.
