And the Favorite Toy is...G.I. Joe®! | The Children's Museum of Indianapolis

GI Joe came out on top, Lego came in third.

To be honest i am a bit surprised Barbie wasn't #1.

if this doesn't qualify as news please move to the appropriate section. Seemed newsworthy to me.

I would have figured Lego would be number 1. Still second is pretty nice.

As much as I love Transformers, Barbie and Lego deserved the places more then GI Joe and Transformers.

Neat, though the complete list is kinda surprising.

Spirograph has a bit higher place than I might have expected, for example.

Cool, although Lego gets a lot more shelf space than both TF and Joe combined, at Walmart/TRU/Target. Barbie probably gets a whole aisle. Retailer/market pick seems different.

Transformers #2 Toyline of the 20th Century.

The Children's Museum of Indianapolis has announced the top 100 toys of the last century as chosen on their website. G.I.Joe was named number 1 while Transformer were second and Lego was third.

I know it's a web poll for the most part, but they got over 24,000 people to vote and it popped up on a news site, so I thought I'd share the link.

G.I. Joe named 20th Century's top toy | Fox News

Oddly enough, there is no link in the article to the actual museum website.

And yet Hasbro can't really figure out what to do with G.I.Joe.

Well at least now they know Indianapolis absolutely loves GI Joe. They shouldn't ever screw up distribution there! :lol
