Well this is a PAL release, so you will need a DVD player with a PAL converter to watch it. If you don't know if your DVD will play it, they likely won't. However, region free DVD players with PAL converters are much cheaper than they have ever been. I suggest Google: Region Free DVD Player.

You can also play it on your PC DVD. Most support it. I have a couple of PAL DVDs (Dungeons and Dragons Cartoon) that I can watch on my PC.

Wasn't this reported about 2 weeks ago? Anyway, the cover will change slightly because the DVD was rated U not PG.

Good artwork, looks better than the Masterforce set. My region free DVD player was a good investment. Looking forward to Amazon UK's release. :D

Ah, thanks bud, I appreciate it! Also, will this set have a new dub, or will it be the same poorly dubbed version like the tapes I have that I bought years ago? I'm not really minding the dub itself, but I am anxious to get a set where I can actually make out what's going on visually.

The UK sets have the dubs plus the original Japanese soundtracks.

Will these sets play on any of the video game platforms (Xbox, 360, PS2)?

Actually, I think it could play on a PS2 if you have a Gameshark. I remember there being a region setting on the Gameshark I have. Although I think it lacks a PAL convertor.

People with PCs that have DVD burner and Nero 7, could rip the discs, convert them to NTSC and burn onto DVD-Rs.

I've done it in the opposite direction NTSC-PAL, and there was no apparent degradation in quality, despite DVD-Rs being half the capaicity of commercial DVDs.

Would also preserve your nice minty discs....

TFTM: Reconstructed and Headmasters were released in Region 0. (Play.com lists them as such, but not Amazon UK.) I remember hearing that Masterforce and Victory were supposed to be released that way, as well. Anybody have Masterforce and can confirm whether its Region 2 or 0? (If it's 0, I would expect Victory to be, too.)
