Remember, folks, that since today is June 1st, the book Transformers Vault: The Complete Transformers Universe - Showcasing Rare Collectibles and Memorabilia is now available.

Written by Pablo Hidalgo and with a foreword by Peter Cullen, the hardcover book covers the whole of the Transformers franchise, from the origins, the toys, the comics, the cartoons, the live-action film series, and the future of the brand, featuring some rarely- or never-before-seen material.

In addition, the book also includes a durable slipcase and removable collectible pieces such as original G1 tech specs with decoder, artwork of the Japanese home media release of The Transformers: The Movie, and more.

My B&N's had that for a while now. Amazing book, but I don't have the money for it. I really, really like that it comes with tech specs and a decoder.

I got it last night. A really great coffee table book, way better than that old "Ultimate Guide" book from a few years back

Got mine from Amazon a week ago. A worthy addition to any collection, I'd say. Lots of great pictures and information in it, plus goodies.

Reading the reviews from Amazon, has anyone gotten a damaged book from poor packing?

I've only read the first two chapters of the book - Toys and Comics - so far (I've been watching TV back and forth throughout my afternoon and evening - heh), but I'm already VERY impressed with this thing!

Sure, not everything gets the same amount of coverage and visuals, but it still gives noteworthy mentions to the many incarnations and media of the franchise. You really gotta give props to the folks who put this book together. :)

Waiting for mine to arrive. Excited to read through it. It will go on the shelf next to my Ultimate Guide.

I got mine in the mail, but have just been able to flip through it a little so far. I'm curious though: does every book come with the same tech specs, animation cell, etc.?

Yep, the memorabilia pieces are the same for every copy of the book.

    It has been ordered biznitches!

Actually looking forward to this. Now if only someone would make a compilation of all the toy sections of catalogs and wishbooks from 1983 to 1986 I would be in nostalgia heaven.

Woot! Just got it in the mail. So far I love this!

I had to write this though. On page 96, before he became optimus, was Orion a girl? Because he has a head that's not too unlike Arcees haha.

I'll go ahead and make use of this zombie thread.

To those who now own this, is it worth the $20 it is now listed for?
