Don't know if this has been brought up before, but the statement made at the past BotCon about the new Universe line being for anything that isn't Animated or from the movie toyline has got me thinking.

What if, aside from the Classics 2.0 figures, we were to get new molds in the 'Classics Style' of updating past figures for other series? Classics Beast Wars or Beast Machines figures? Armada figures with more complex transformations and better articulation? Would this be a 'yay', a 'nay', or a 'meh'?

I for one would like to see new versions of Rattrap and Cheetor with more show-accurate beast modes, a Voyager-sized Dinobot and Beast Machines Silverbolt, and a Blackarachnia that LOOKS like Blackarachnia.

    Anyone else got some ideas?

Updated Armada would be very interesting.

For me personally it would be a "meh" but I am sure there would be some people who would love an updated Cheetor or Waspinator. More power to them I say. I might not mind an Inferno update myself.

Dinobot really needs a new mold.

When I listed Armada on there I had Hot Shot in mind. I really wish they'd had gone through and given us THIS version of the mold:

It's not great and looks to be really simplistic, but at least it has more articulation than the final release.

Wow, I have never seen that before. Are there any more unused molds like that?

I wouldn't mind them doing Classics updates of non-G1 characters. Specifically Snarl, as he was my first TF as a kid. I'm not sure what they could do to improve on the origional mold for him, but, I'm sure they could find a way to make it awesome. Also, if they still have the proto of it, they could release Transtech (think that's what it was going to be called) Starscream.

I can't think of any off the top of my head, but a good search of the Teletraan-1 TF Wiki should yield similar results.

I seem to remember it being said there were arm problems with that design (best guess the shoulder panels didn't lock down well and moved around when you tried to move the arms)

I guess you could consider the BW10th/Cybertron Beast Planet Optimus and Megatron to be "classics"-style Beast Wars toys. I don't think there's a lot of BW-and-later toys that really need to be Classics-ized, but some would be fun to see. I'll go along with the desire to see new toys of Dinobot or (season 1-2) Blackarachnia, however.

Love to see the Animated BA toy in final form though. Looks pretty BW-ish.

I'd love a Show accurate (or as show accurate as possible) BM Silverbolt, of all the characters he was shafted the most IMO (ie from one of the tallest Maximals to the shortest and frankly, the most eye wateringly poorly coloured).

BA ain't gonna happen, since she's in Animated and still retains her black and gold look.

But a large Dinobot could be cool, but with the Dinobots in Animated it may not happen unless there's a name change. Also, I hope they give him feathers.:D

But Dinobot isn't just a regular velociraptor - he's a SPIELBERGIAN velociraptor! The most awesome velociraptor of them all!
Though with feathers that'd make him an easy repaint for a BW The Gathering Grimlock toy, wouldn't it? And we all know how much Hasbro loves repaints... :)

I'd be fine with that, but I'd still hope for it to be mostly G1 updates
