The bio is decent. I already have him, but he's a must have for anyone who passed the first time.

Since he's part of the Armada Series he's not Classics right? but what does that mean?

 

Aaahhh, pass. I already have him and will not spend the money on him especially since the prices went up on the ultra's, this guy has got to be very pricey. Not cool. I had to pass on the other Ultra's becasue of the prices, I might be able to pick up Dropshot if I can find him.

 

Universe is supposed to be a generic catch-all for all the different TF series. So each bit is divided by series. We've got War Within series on Springer VS Ratbat, indicating they tie in to War Within. Dirge VS Roadbuster is G1 as is the Optimus Prime reissue (I'd imagine). Unicron and the Minicon 12 pack are Armada series. It's basically the preamble to what we will have next year with the 25th line celebrating all the different series.

The figure looks nice. Though not "Dull Surprise"ish enough.

...and when I say that, I'm serious. In TFTM he's pretty darn "Dull Surprise"ish.

Probably will sell for 49.99 here in US, current supreme price.
Most of the 25th aniv product will probably retain the same universe packaging, but add a '25 anniv' logo or sticker.

Since Universe 2.0 started? And Classics did this to some degree. Soundwave was listed as part of the Commemorative Series, "the" Classics were designated as Classic Deluxe and Classic Voyager, but I don't think the Mini-Cons or Legends had anything more specific than listing which size class they were. No clue on Devastator.

 

I like the packaging. Have a loose armada one but i will probably pick this up for misb.

 

Cool. That bio is pretty good. I might get him, I might not. If I have the opportunity to get him myself, or from someone else as a gift, I'll go for it, but there are some other TF's that'll come first in the decision making process.

 

with any luck we'll get Blast Punch Primal in BM show colours then.

 

Ultras actually went DOWN in price. They used to be 29.99, now they're 24.99. That's what I've seen Universe Powerglide and Onslaught at.

I missed out on this one first time around, so this is aimed at Armada Unicron owners: Is he worth getting?

 

They most likely removed them so they could pose his legs like that in the box, and placed the 2 missing parts inside the box with his missiles.

Hopefully that's the case.
