Can't really see anything, all I can see for sure is some sort of filmstrip and some empty DVD / Blu Ray casing.
TF3 trilogy has an autographed plaque and a real film strip sandwiched between glass plates.
I know its kinda grainy but, I posted the Twitter link above.
I find the inclusion of a "real film strip" to be hilariously bad when we're talking about a movie that was shot entirely in digital. I don't believe any "actual" film should even exist, as the distribution was likely entirely digital too. So these are basically gimmicked up, mass produced pieces of film, it would seem.
There's a few theatres out there still running 35mm film, and possibly some of the 70mm IMAX locations are still using film.
True, never thought about the IMAX versions.
Hmm? Do you have a link?
What I meant is that Michael is popular for shooting mainly on film. Not digitial. Even in DOTM many scenes were shot on film. So don't worry guys. There's plenty of "real film strip".
Reproduced film strip mass printed for inclusion of thousands of boxsets? Sure. Actual film strip cut from the original source and thrown into thousands of boxsets? I highly doubt it. Guess we'll know when/if numerous people all end up with the same frames once this thing is released.
what is this for?
Unless the movie was shown through a digital projector then there are probably a lot of copies that were distributed to theaters that Paramount has to do something with. DOTM was showing in 4,088 theaters at one point with probably more screens than that. There is probably plenty of film.
With a run time of at least 154 minutes that is 9,240 seconds and lets just say 30 frames a second that would be 277,200 frames divided by the 5 shown would be 55,440 strips per film. Lets just say there are 4,088 films, that would be 226,638,720 strips. Of course that is just a guess but I would say they have plenty to pick and choose from. That isn't counting foreign copies they might could use also.

Gonna be an excellent collector's item!
Now if it does not cost $10,000....
Must resist the urge to get ><
I'll buy it.
That looks VERY impressive!
Only 5000 being made and they're all signed by Bay? This thing is gonna cost a fortune. Hopefully Amazon are smart and limit orders to one per customer, otherwise it's going to be scalped to hell & back.
