    Hi guys,
I'll be heading over to the UK shortly,
and was wondering if anyone could tell me if they knew of any good places to find transformers in London England. I must say I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to the geography of the UK, so if you could give me specifics ie) exact address/phone that would be very helpful.

Also, can you tell me what european exclusives I should be looking for that didn't make their way to north america?

    Any/all help is greatly appreciated...
    thanks in advance:thumb

er lol i don't come from the london area so can't give specifics but generally in the uk (i assume you are in america or canada) we pay twice as much for transformers as you and IF we get them they arrive about 9 months later. The only thing i can really think of at the mo is that a particular chain of toy shops in the uk has gotten hold of some armada red thrusts the ones that were thought to be canceled and are selling them for £5 about $8

i will try to find more info for you but i'm sure people more london based will be a better help

    when are you going?

    thanks

Universe Superion appeared in the UK a few months back.

The most obvious place for Hasbro Transformers would be Hamleys (Regent Street?? - can't remember) but they're pricier than most, and TFs are a lot more expensive in Europe than North America.

Forbidden Planet will have a few things, but they're just plain expensive on TFs.

Orbital comics are somewhere around the centre of London, and i've heard their pricing and stock is reasonable

Orbital is just off Tottenham Court Road, by Centrepoint. It's well worth checking it out.

Forbidden Planet, whilst cool, is over priced.

Hamleys is on Regeant's Street and is well worth a look around mainly because it is so cool.

Aside from that, good luck finding much at all, you've got to head out of London itself to find the Toys R Us stores and such...

Hope you have a good time in london, but i doubt you'll find anything here cheaper than you can get in the US...

Your best bet is probably the Brent Cross branch. There isn't really a 'central' branch of TRU in London.

The Belfast branch will probably have them too.

    thanks

Thanks guys, pls keep those suggestions coming =)
I'm sorry, I should have been more specific,
I'm looking for G1 stuff, not the stuff Hasbro/Takara
    is currently making over here.

I know you guys had such things as European classics of figures like springer, wheeljack, etc... which we didn't get in Canada/US

I think you guys also had those 3 cars that combine together from the jap line, as well as overlord which we never saw in us/canada.

    Does orbital carry G1 stuff?
Would you happen to know if they still have a Soundblaster Takara re-issue, or a (ha ha ha minibot re-issue set)?
    thx:thumb

Orbital has G1 stuff over the WALLS.

I remember standing there gaping at a boxed complete Skorponok, just gaping, for around, I dunno, a minute maybe? Bloke that owns it is cool as well.

    But uh... don't shop there.

Orbiter or whatever it's called is on Charingcross road/street.

I was in there last Tuesday and they had a fair few TF things. E.g:
JPN ML Manga Convoy giftset, Superlink roadbuster (green), Superlink Grand Convoy, Superlink Omega Supreme, Superlink Beachcomber, GF Dark Ligerjack, E-Hobby GF Galvatron PVC, GF Megalo Convoy, GF Galvatron,, Loads of PVC's + WST's. etc.

And a massive Armada Poster, G1 Poster, and The G1 Prime 'I want you' poster at £7.50 each.

Also they had loads of the Marvel G1 Comics.
