What transformers are people looking to buy this year It can be from any series. My list: Fort Max Liokaiser BlackZarak G1 Abominus Menasor Leader class starscream (the MP or the hftd version I don't know which one yet ) Oh and MP Rodimus (hot rod) Fort Max, Blackzarak and Abominus MIB I will try and lookout for a reasonable price but not holding my breath. Blackzarak can go for much more than Fort Max and the only Abominus I have seen is going at 1200USD on ebay atm.
Mate, Are you looking for Unused pieces? If so, they can indeed cost arms & legs. But if you're willing to take in Used ones then its not too costly I suppose. I've sold enough Black Zaraks & Abominus(s/es) to know that they aren't that unattainable in pricing. USD $1,200 for Abominus?? Goodness! It had better be the D-84 giftset, Unused & complete with all paperworks. (Especially that poster!) Because I just sold a Used specimen recently for 1/2 the asking price.
I'm just looking forward to the retail releases: DOTM, TF Prime, any future Generations. I've loved what's been out so far. When I go to Botcon I hope to collect some more loose BW figures and older released Classics. I seriously need an Original Optimus Primal. That's my most wanted at the moment.
Unused would be nice but I wouldn't mind a used BlackZarak, Abominus or Fort Max. There was an incomplete with broken pieces Blackzarak a few months back and was sold for 700 or so. That's no good to me and is pricey for what it is... As for Abominus I think it was unused and is the japanese giftset.
Henkei Ratchet- Hopefully less than 50 Henkei Ironhide- Same with Ratchet. Henkei Mirage- I can settle for classics. Henkei Starscream no K.O. Classics Sideswipe. G1 Gestalts-all.
Not getting them all, but my list goes: MPs: MP-02, 04, 04s, 08x, 09, 3x Rodimus domestic release Encore/Reissue: Green Ratchet, Thundercracker/Skywarp, Predaking, Bruticus, Jazz (Don't know why I havent gotten him yet). RTS/Generations/United: All US releases of "classic" figures, the ehobby 3-packs, whatever United I can afford Henkei: Megs, Mirage, Prowl, Smokescreen, Lambor, Sunstreaker Animated: Wingblade Prime, Crystal Rodi/Optimus, Hydro-BB, Roadbuster Magnus, Clear Lockdown, Rescue Ratchet, EG Prowl, EG Optimus, Black Optimus, Black Rodimus. I think I was looking at the same one on eBay! Way overpriced though, in my opinion, even for an MISB one. I just need a minty Abominus to complete all the G1 Decepticon combiners that I want for the collection. Other than that, i'm all caught up with what i'm looking for and just looking forward to new stuff! MP Roddy, most of the Generations, RTS and United releases...

My main goal would be to get some missing G1 figures. After this it's more or less "current" toys that I'll get on release so not much hunting old stuff aside a odd figure here and there. My G1 list of "to get" is pretty lenghty to me: Slag, Swoop, Shockwave (the KO didn't cut it, too bad quality, will have to replace it), Inferno, Grapple, Jetfire, Hound, Red Alert and Menasor. And most minibots too: Cliffjumper, Brawn, Huffer, Gears, Cosmos, Seaspray, Windcharger, Powerglide. I'll get reissue when possible, otherwise I'll go vintage on most, and will get a KO only if the other options are too costly/hard to find.
