I just checked in on imdb.com, and at #46 there it is Transformers 2007.
With a total thus far of $532,703,726. Great considering some of the movies that it has blown away, but also bad considering it hasn't beaten Home Alone and Finding Nemo.

Just thought i'd drop in with that little nugget of information.

    Thanks for reading!!

I saw it for the third time Saturday and the theater was packed.

I wonder how much revenue it will generate when it goes to the dollar theaters?

Me? I've only seen it twice (the second time, I was moody and thus spoiled my enjoyment of a second viewing).

As for the Dollar Theater Question?: I'm not sure, most people (or just me) tend to look down on Dollar Theaters unless they're tight on money and never got the oppertunity to see a movie when it was circulating in the non-dollar theaters.

While The Simpsons are nearly $200 million.

Yet Transformers is still doing very well, considering it's up against Potter and Simpsons.:)

Thats a little interesting, but what I'd like to see is a list that is updated to include the rise of inflation. I mean, which movie was actually watched by the most people and was a true phenomenon? Anyone know of a site or list that contains an inflation-adjusted total?

I truly don't think Transformers did that great. It should have been much higher if you count up the cost of inflation and rise of ticket prices and so forth now as compared to earlier times. I would love to see a list that contains an inflation adjusted to non-sequel movies and see how TF compared to Shrek 1, or Harry Potter 1, Back to the Future 1, etc, etc, etc. Anyone know of such a thing?
