He might not have a 'mouth', he might just have his mouthplate and still speak. They are robots.. they don't NEED a mouth. I'm convinced Izzy fixes his voice here, but that it won't come back right away

 

I agree that he doesn't need a mouth I just said that there is no visible mouth in the picture from above. Also I have the same feeling, his voice will come back in the right time.

 

Oh I see now. It looks like a retainer lol. Or you know when people have the harmonica on that base to help keep it up close to the mouth? Lol!!! Ok now I can't unsee it! Oh god, I just wish it would be the right voice actor, they seem to care for this franchise now, they must have realized that his voice in the frist movie and in the ride doesn't fit.

 

I'm sure whoever it is will seem like it fits after a while, even if it doesn't right away

I'm sure it's just touching on the fact that her character is a "smart street tom boy" who was probably bullied.

I hope that's not the case. It's incredibly stupid that a human kid can fix his voice but not Ratchet.

I'm pretty sure it's going to happen. Radio Voice works as a gimmick as long as there aren't many line for him... a solo movie needs him to have a proper voice.

 

Will he get his voice back? Yes. Will it happen in this movie? Probably. Will Izzy fix it? Most likely. I don't doubt any of this, but I still don't like the concept of a human fixing it. It feels like a slap in the face to Ratchet. I would like if Hound fixed it as it seems he's the new medic of the bots. It would also give a point for him to suddenly become a medic. And btw, his solo movie is rumored to be a prequel(which I hope it is).

 

Maybe ratchet didn't have a bunch of dead cons to scavenge parts from? Or maybe if he did there's a stigma around taking parts from dead bots?

Whatever the reason may be...it's just absurd in my opinion that a kid would even come close to fix his voice.

also isabella appears to be skilled in tech ... so I guess it makes sence she would know her way around all this

Still would preferred if this was in a comic, or at least it'll be in the movie's opening. A mobile app should not have to explain on how TF lore works.
