Why is this "cool"?  

Cause we adore Hollywood celebrities? Is that why? Cause I don't get it.  

Great for a promotional thing... I guess... But it feels a little wrong to promote the movie at Toy Fair. I mean, doesn't that take attention away from the toys? For example, does including Mark Wahlberg in a shot make that Bumblebee better? Or make it easier to assess the design of the toy?

I doubt Paramount contracting them to do this, which means they visited just to screw around... which would also bother me, as it's not a circus to gawk at, ya know? It's a serious thing. Why do I get the impression they don't take any of these products seriously, or all the hard work the designers and factory workers put into making them?

Unless Toy Fair is supposed to be a fluffy piece of goofy promotion.   I thought it was a serious place for designers to show their creations and get attention for their work... not a place for Bay to stop by and take away the spotlight.

 

Oh that's why Mark was in town. I was wondering why he came out to Long Island.

Toy fair is explicitly for companies to show their wares directly to retailers and other front line purchasers. Putting extra marketing power at an event like this is pretty normal.

 

Tyrese is in the movie, but he may just have a small role, because he was shooting Fast 8 when TLK entered production, he started filmnig his scenes nearby the end of production of TLK, so he doesnt have a big part.

Need I remind y'all that Transformers wouldn't be what it is today had a rep from Hasbro not gone to Tokyo Toy Fair, saw the Diaclone toys on display and went "I LIKE WHAT YOU GOT", and bought the domestic rights from Takara?

 

"GOOD JOB!"

 

People are butthurt that the cast and director went to Toy Fair and here I am, simply feeling jealous because they actually got to play with the toys.

 

It's cool that they showed up. Did anyone interview them, get some bits of info from them?

 

Why is someone annoyed about this?  Obviously, I\'d be annoyed if Bay showed up to a G1 TF panel,  but it\'s understandable to see him at a booth promoting the toys.

It does seem that the actors are bored as heck though...

Maybe Marky Mark is but the rest seem to be pretty childish with everything around them especially Josh Duhamel.

Who's the little girl in red playing, though? I thought the other actress is playing Mark's daughter.

 

I know I am going to get flamed by the so called fans. But goddam these toys look like garbage. Actually I think Garbage looks better than these toys. How the %$#* does hasbro make money on this garbage. My son, nephew and his cousin all think these toys look like garbage. Of course they want my SOC, MG/PG Gundams, Hot Toys and 3rd party toys. My son laughed when he saw these pictures and said, Dad why do these toys look like garbage the legendary voltron looks better.

 

Do you get paid every time you say "garbage?"

Saw the images of them playing around with the toys okay that\'s pretty cool look down at the comments people getting triggered overall my question is why
