Transformers + stuff, from Silent Bob Update

    Update on Page 6 !!!!

    Hi guys,

First time I have started a thread. I've seen some awsome collections on here, and thought I'd share a few pics of my current displays. Much smaller than most, but they are my my pride and joy :D
I only tend to collect the figures that are very close to their Gen 1 appearance and colours. In the main I have focused on the 84 Bots and Cons. My collection is very character specific and includes Gen 1, Alternators/Binaltech, Masterpiece, Classics/Henkei, Titanuim, Animated, WST, Music Label, Hybrid, Robot Heroes and Myclone.

Also thrown in a few other lines collected, by my housemate (Lurker09) and I.

Anyway, hope you enjoy and all comments are welcome.

Very nice. This is one of the best displays of a collection I have seen on these boards. Good job and thanks for sharing

Thank you all for looking, and especially for taking the time to leave such kind comments!!
Most visitors to the house are impressed by the displays (even if they are not into collecting, or TF's) but it's really nice to hear the opinions of fellow Transfans. Thanks again! :thumbs2:

Wow !!! Thanks for the compliment :D   :)

Thanks mate and glad you like the Dino's! They only moved into the main display quite recently, upon the arrival of MP Grimmy. Unfortunately there was no room to display Animated Swoop and Snarl/Slag with the others. Space is becoming an issue!!

Yeah, it's the same cabinet from Ikea. They are great for displaying figs and really good value, when you see the cost of most others.
Really like your collection too! Focused and not cluttered. Very nice :thumb

Anyway, thanks again everyone and take care.

    Bob

WOW, we should hang out our collections are almost the same. I have mine displayed differently but for the most part they match. I would love to have a G1 Sunstreaker & Mirage to add to my display. I don't know how you found the shoulder rockets for your Alternator Prowl but they kick ass.

No worries, pop over for a beer anytime :)
Do you have pics of your collection online? Would be Love to see my collections doppleganger !! Which is the evil one I wonder? :lol
The rocket launchers for my custom Alt Prowl are from the "Binaltech Arming kit". Used to be on Ebay a while back, but seem to have dried up now unfortunately :( . It also came with a nice big chrome sword which I have given to my Predaking (although you can't really see it in my pic).
Good luck on Finding a G1 Sunny and Mirage that dont break the bank, both top figs (hugs gen 1 Sunny) and thanks for posting mate!

I probably spend more time fiddling with the displays and poses than I do the figs themselves. Pretty OCD about it sometimes actually, but all part of the fun :D .
Thanks for looking and the positive comments :thumbs2:

WOWOWOWOW - to quote McD's "I'm loooovin' it!". Please don't tell me those jumbo-sized prowl, sideswipe, mirage - are all customs. Oh man. PM'd ya with a question on them. But anyways, great collection.

Dude - and sideshow collectibles. Nice! Although - gotta say, Leia figures never come out right. I've yet to see one do justice to Fisher. How do you like that snake-eyes? I was debating on getting him (obviously sold out now), but am still curious how detailed it is. Is it rigid enough to pose in any position?

Cheers mate, glad you like it :)

The figures you are talking about are Alternator/Binaltech figs. Mirage comes as seen in my pics, Sideswipe requires a small mod, but the Prowl is a major custom unfortunately. Have PM'd you with more details.

Thanks for the shout out on the Sideshows :thumb
I gotta say I love the Snake-Eyes!! His arms seem a little Skinny but he looks much better in person than in any pics and comes with a CRAZY amount of stuff, from swords, guns, granades, ammo clips etc. The detailing really is fantastic in that all the individual buckles and everything work. He holds a pose really well although using the stand provided helps for more dynamic posing. Highly recommended, especially as they have now announced Storm Shadow. Should look amazing together  .

Hope this is useful and thanks again for the comments!

Very impressive collection. My favorites are the MP Seekers, I like the way you have them arranged around Starscream with the add on kit. THUMBS HIGH HARRY! :thumbs2:
