Wow, almost looks like it transforms similar to CW Scavenger.
I may pick it up if they release it in proper Constructicon green to go with my RotF Long Haul and green Mixmaster.

He definitely shares some engineering with CW Scrapper, particularly the feet and the general transformation.

Anyone else getting some CW Scavenger vibes from Scrapmetal's legs?

I just had a looked at my CW Scavenger's leg to compare to Scrapmetal's leg, the details on the treads is almost identical.

Looks good. But the guy who takes these pictures is clueless.

    1. Why not show if Rapmages treads can become whips already ? Sheesh...

    2. Why comparison shots with Siege Ultra Magnus ? Almost nobody has him yet, plus he is substantially smaller than the average leader class figure. Why not take pics with clasdics Prime instead ?

Scrapmetal has such a tiny bland head I didn't even know it existed. Give CW Devastator some credit for some articulation loss at least the individual Constructicons have semblance of character and looks to tell where their limbs were.

As someone who generally likes the movies but had pretty much sworn off movie toys until the SS line, which I find pretty darn great as toys, these are pretty much the epitome of what I disliked about the movie designs and their accompanying toys. Decepticons that we’re alien, bug-like and totally generic. Easy pass.

Definitely a similarity between Cw scavenger and scrapmetal although the latter has more steps in transformation.

    Cw scavenger - 17 steps
    SS scrapmetal - 24 steps

Scrapmetal is bizarrely charming. There's something about the goofy hand claws and torso that is instantly likable. His excavator mode isn't half bad either.

Rampage on the other hand looks downright unforgivable. No posability in the arms or "leg" areas and the bulldozer is only passable, what with the Combiner piece or whatever that is sticking right out of the front. These are meant to be bought as part of a whole, but it's a waste to spend money on a Transformer that doesn't function as well as others of its era. This is asking $30 for a barely decent looking statue just because they assume you are going to spend even more cash down the line. Here's hoping the others aren't as bad as Rampage...

Scrap Metal looks like a decent little deluxe, if fairly uninspired. Head looks pretty nondescript Bayverse Bugcon though.

Rampage just looks all-around terrible outside of his alt mode.
Terrible proportions, terrible arms, terrible non-articulation, terrible execution of his arm whips, even more terrible execution of his already-terrible serpentine-pogo stick design...

Retool Scrapmetal’s head and chest and you have a CHUG figure on your hands....

Just think. A CHUG Armada Hoist, Cybertron Longrack, and Cybetronian Dinobot..
