    technically, there is no 2 or 3...since each is a self contained one shot...however, the 2nd and third come out in oct and nov....leading to the 4th in dec....2nd is nightbeat, 3rd is hotrod i think....

    Spot on. The first is Shockwave, followed by Nightbeat, Hot Rod, Sixshot, and then I think it is Ultra Magnus' turn.

    You know, after reading the preview, that's exactly what I thought. What the hell is up with Simon Furman and killing off combiner teams? It's like a running gag with this guy.

    As far as Rob Ruff's art goes, it HAS improved, but I still don't think that he's the right person for this particular book. His work is big, and bumpy, and blocky, and that would work for someone like Seaspray, Cosmos, or the other smaller bots, but definately not someone like Sixshot.

    Now if only the story could include Quickswitch...

    Yeah, I had a Quickswitch as a kid. And no, I don't know where it went. And yes, I wish I still had it!
