I'm digging the blaster fire effect parts the target bro comes with.

I like the sideswipe and targetmaster. Not sure about OP. The price goes up to 20 for a deluxe. I hope it means theres more to it. Im ok with a price increase if the engineering, accessories etc are all there.

Perfect gif, love it! (who doesn't love Flash? hehe)

I can agree with that, and if I can grow to love its truck mode, then I definitely can love this one.

I am going to assume you are referring to Classics Optimus Prime... And yes, Striker Manus does in a couple ways, and is one of the best Optimus Prime's ever made! (My favorite 3P figure to date).

My god! These reveals came out of nowhere! I cannot actually believe they are giving us the Targetmasters, individually retailed, with blast effects (okay, I can believe the last 2 parts)!

I am supremely blown away in all honesty, and am seriously hoping they release all the Targetmasters for the bots already released. I am definitely ok with buying the 3 Autobot Targetmasters, weapons and TM separate.

As far as the price point, I know this will upset many, but I personally am willing to pay a few extra bucks IF the make the figures better articulated, with accessories, and decent paint jobs. I think the popularity of Studio Series points to that (and I think each figure is worth the MSRP).

Now, I am praying for Voyager Megatron that turns into a cybertronian tank (that isn't Bliztwing pretool)....that might give us that perfect pair of the 2 rivals after all this time (not that classics and Titans Return aren't bad).

Sideswipe looks good enough. Prime is an easy pass.

What also worries me is that "Spring 2019" release date. At this point, the only figure from POTP that hasn't been released is a lone deluxe, so does that mean we're going to have a 7-8 month window with no new Transformers Generations product?

That's really, really going to suck. I hope they announce a line extension or something for POTP next week at SDCC.

I don't know whose idea it was to weather only certain pieces of that Optimus but it's stupid to look at. You either weather the entire toy or none of it, that's a basic rule of weathering.

Digital mockup of Prime without any of the new stuff or back kibble (which looks removable) for those interested.

No. They're different. Very similar looking, but different (like no bending knees).

Probably not. PotP wave 1 also had a January 2018 release date but showed up as early as November in some areas, if I remember correctly.

Maybe they are hoping the g1 reissues will pick up the slack during that time?

Prime's Axe/Shield is wicked! Loving that we're getting more "Insert new name here"-Masters. Really hope we can get a non-battle-damaged version of Sideswipe, he's beautiful enough I almost want to swap out my Universe Sideswipe with him.

Are the prices going up? The MSRP's on several of the figures were the same ones we saw on PotP and that never actually came to pass at stores.

Or Hasbro wants PotP to start winding down around the holidays so the Bee Movie toys don't get suffocated for shelf space and then by the time those are phasing out it'll be time for Siege to get underway.

Hmmm getting a very post apocalypse vibe from that Prime. That vehicle mode looks odd in terms of normal vehicles, but with the over abundance of lights and the miniguns in the fenders, that screams post apoc to me. Well having said that I don't really have any interest in the figure.

Sideswipe looks pretty good but $20 a figure definitely means I'm going to have to be quite selective with who I pick up. Going to have to see who else is going to be in the line before i dive in.

Targetmasters............my wallets already whimpering at the thought of going all in again. Kind of bummed the arms and legs seem to be solid pieces though. Still GIVE ME ALL THE THINGS!!!! Oh boy now I'm dreading how the Micromasters are going to look. Might be all inning on those little buggers as well. 2019 the year my wallet died again. Lol

It's possible but I still like to believe Takara just wanted to go out with a bang since they were going to have to cut back for the foreseeable future.

Well a taste of Thursday at 11 for me. Interesting that they are adding weapon effects now. A bit of a premium feature by Hasbro's standards.

Nope, these are new molds with half the articulation and a third of the parts.
