As simplistic as RID characters are in design, it's a crime that the McDonald's toys don't Transform.

Based on what we understand, Hasbro license holders cannot make transforming toys anymore. The sole right of manufacturing transforming Transformers toys lies with Hasbro only. I think the rule came out somewhere after Revenge Of The Fallen. I've no idea why the rule was placed.

I thought that Happy Meal toys were made by Hasbro (for McDonald's). I'm fairly certainly McDonald's isn't actually the one making them, at least....

Yeah the BW and BM toys were epic by today's standards. Maybe they'll me a build a figure kind of thing. Collect all four (McBumblebee, McStrongarm, McSideswipe and McGrimlock) and build McUltrabee. I think they could pull that off with now they make McToys today.

    Well that really sucks.

What you don't like Starscream doing the luge......in the air............

Aaaaaaaaaaaand I hate you. Forgot that even existed and I'm sad all over again. Such a nice tank mode with a descent robot to boot. Curse you Starscream for being a slightly more important character to the show.

My son loves the masks too. I have a feeling we'll be doing a few meals at Mcdonalds.

Just got the full set. Every figure appears to be identical to the previously-released non-U.S. versions, except for the Grimlock mask.

The non-U.S. version of the Grimlock mask has two little grey flip-down jaws or teeth (screenshot taken from this YouTube video):

These are missing on the U.S. version.

I don't care much for them as Transformers, but I found out Bumblebee's wings on a 5mm peg are very useful for Micronauts!
