it would be so much easier to explain why we think its cool lol.

That is pretty neat. Similar to gravity bots but actually cooler.

There's no way people could say these aren't at least kinda cool.

Glad they're making the "kids" TFs actually good.

To transform Blades, you pretty much stand him up on his tail? OK...(and yes I know this is a kiddie line, but still...)

The video looks a bit too 'itemized' to be a TV commercial IMO. I'm thinking it's more like some kind of promo video for retailers, or for point-of-purchase displays, like those little video screens running ads you might see at Wal-Mart.

Looks good for kids. I noticed I can't find any online listings or prices for the human allies.

Well these look lame but clearly not marketed for me. Maybe my son when he is a little older will like this.

Twisting the knob splits his tail into legs, flips his pontoons around to become arms and opens his cockpit to reveal his head. The video just shoots it from an angle that doesn't make all of that immediately apparent. It's about as involved as pretty much every other figure - it just doesn't seem to involve any additional manual manipulation of parts.

When I was that kid's age, I had a G1 Jetfire and was able to transform him just fine. They're seriously underestimating kids with these baby toys.

I was just about to post the same thing! I don't really understand why they're dumbing this stuff down for kids. I can understand that the Bayverse stuff is overly intricate and breakable for children but I seriously don't get why they have to make it so simple. I think that they could just as easily make simpler (not TOO simple) transformations for cooler looking toys so that it could be fun for younger and older kids as well as collectors. They don't need to sacrifice aesthetics for young kids. They were going in the right direction with Animated....
