    Hello everybody!
I've been goofing around for a while now with the idea of doing a fan fiction series, doing my own continuity of Transformers, so, while I was in the hospital, I had lots of time to think about the story I wanted to tell in the first "season" which characters I wanted, what changes I would like to change, what their alt. modes would be ect... Then I finally got off my lazy butt and started writing, so, now I'd like to present the first part of the first episode. Any criticism is welcome, as long as it's not something like "you suck", becasue that doesn't help anyone.

    Transformers: Rebooted
    Season 1, Episode 1
    "Pilot"

    Teaser

    Dayton, Ohio
    November 16th, 1956

The 1947 Ford drove along Patterson Boulevard for about the 6th time that week. With its slightly dark red color, it seemed no more out of place than any other car, and it’s driver seemed very ordinary , to the casual observer. However this car was more than meets the eye. If the people knew that who they perceived as the driver was actually a hologram, produced by science thousands of years in advance, and that the car itself was actually an alien, there would be a panic, and that was the last thing Hot Rod wanted. After driving around for a little bit more, Hot Rod turned up and down several roads until he saw his goal: one of the entry gates to Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, the area that Hot Rod needed to gain access too, and, just like clockwork, the person he had target, an Air Force Major, was leaving, pulling out the gate as the two guards on duty saluted.
There you are, Major. Hot Rod thought. As the Major’s car turned onto the street, Hot rod followed. Not too close, he didn’t want to be spotted, but close enough he could keep the car in sight.
Forty-five minutes later, the Major’s car pulled into a driveway. The drive way was filled with bikes and the set up for a game that Hot Rod learned from accessing radio and TV was called “Basketball”. A game Hot Rod very much wanted to try, if there was a court big enough for Autobots, which, he thought to himself, was hardly likely on this planet. He waited until the Major exited his car, and was close enough to the front door that his wife and sons came out to greet him, then, as they rushed inside to escape the cool evening air, Hot Rod pulled up, across the street, parking at the house with the “For Sale” sign. If anyone happened to see hot Rod, they would think that he was a car belonging to someone looking at the house. Hot Rod deactivated his hologram, and turned off his engine. Then he waited. After a few minutes, the Major appeared in the window of his living room, sitting in a recliner by the window.
That’s my cue. A green light shone out of Hot Rod’s side window, engulfing the Major for just the briefest of seconds, barely long enough for the Major to notice, because if he had, he would have seen himself, or, more to the point, a hologram of himself pulling away, driving a 1947 red Ford.
Hot Rod drove back to Wright-Patterson, take the same route he had used before. As he approached the gate, the guards saluted, and ushered him though.
So far, so good. He thought to himself as he drove to his destination: Building 18.

Sorry it's taken me so long to post the next chapter.

    ACT 1
Hot Rod deactivated his hologram and waited while he scanned for surveillance equipment. While he picked up several that were in and around his targeted building, they were, compared to what he was used to, very primitive, but no less effective. He took a few seconds to send out a small pulse that would disable the system for Building 18 for a while, and, if anyone noticed, he would have his goal and be gone before any humans arrived. He transformed, and went around to the back of the building, opening a service door big enough for trucks to go though. After closing the door, he did a quick thermal scan. There were two humans, most likely guards, on his level, and several others on lower levels, levels that did not show up on the building plans he had studied. That’s ok, Hot Rod thought to himself, What I need is on this floor. Whatever else the humans are doing, it’s not my business. Hot Rod bent down to crawl though the truck sized inner door way (In his true robot mode, he was a lot taller than a truck) and entered what appeared to be a service space, lined with equipment than impressed Hot Rod, even though he was far from what might be called the brainy type. I’ll bet Wheeljack would give up his right ear to look at this stuff. He crawled on all fours until he reached a sealed garage door, with a keypad to the right, at what Hot rod guessed would be average height for a human. Why couldn’t Prime have sent Bumblebee, or Cliffjumper, or anyone smaller than me. That’s what I get for being the closest to this star system when he made his decision. Tiny wires, each about the size of a human finger, started pressing buttons in a rapid pace, try every combination possible. In a few moments, the door started to go up, and Hot Rod crawled though. The inner section of the building was open enough that Hot Rod could stand at his full height. The room had all sorts of equipment, the use of which Hot Rod could only guess. At the center of the room was Hot Rod’s goal: An Autobot escape pod, the type used onboard Autobot cruisers. Hot Rod’s mission was to recover the computer records inside, find out what ship it was from, then destroy it before the humans were able to recover more technology. He approached , taking a few astro seconds to inspect the hull, to see if there was any battle damage. If the pod had ejected due to a battle with the Decepticons, Prime would want to know. After Hot Rod was satisfied that the Cons were not involved, he touched a panel, and it slid open, revealing keypad. He typed in his access code, which was accepted, and in a brief moment, he had downloaded everything in the pods computer. Now to blow this baby, he thought to himself. He typed in the code that would allow the pods computer to recognize an Autobot, and the command to self-destruct. The explosion would be contained to this room, so the chances of any humans being hurt, or killed were at a bare minimum. As he finished keying in the sequence, he pressed the button that would allow the computer to execute the command, and receive a shock like none he had received before. Before he knew it, he was on the floor, and all of his systems were entering status lock. It would be the last thing he would be aware of for a very long time.

    ACT 2

Somewhere over the Pacific Ocean, international waters
    Summer, 1986

The carrier U.S.S Ranger was on alert. A Soviet MIG was on their radar, moving fast, on a possible intercept course. Even though they were in international waters, a Soviet jet heading towards their general area was not something one dismissed. In moments, alert fighters were in the air, with orders to “kindly” escort the pilot away from the American ship. However none of the American pilots had any idea what they were about to see, or not see, really.
The MIG was in fact a Transformer, a Decepticon named “Ramjet”, and he was on a mission that involved landing in a place the native population called “The Union of Soviet Socialist Republics” . Ramjet’s orders were clear: let nothing interfere, and above all, do not be seen in his true form. The approaching human fighter craft were about to “interfere”. There were two of them. Ramjet did a quick check with his datatrax, discovered the approaching jets were F-14’s, they could give him a run for his energon in flying, but their weapons would not even come close to hurting him. His on the other hand…. He toyed with the thought, but decided that the mission was more important, and activated his hologram pilot, just in case the humans were able to get close enough to see into his cockpit. He over flew the two jets, who changed course at once. A few seconds later, he had one on each side, acting as escorts. Their voices came on over the radio in what sounded like broken Russian. “MIG pilot, you are approaching a United States Naval vessel. We will escort you away so you can continue on your way. You will not be fired upon. Do you understand?” Ramjet thought for a microsecond. He knew he could take out not only these two, but their ship as well, but he decided against it. The mission was too important. Instead, he directed his hologram to nod and reply on the radio.
“Da, I understand.” His Russian, or any Earth language for that matter, was perfect. No reason for the human pilots to suspect that he was not even from this solar system. The detour took him out and around the American ship, and before too long, he was back on course for his destination: a secret Soviet base in Siberia. Secret that is, unless you have a communications expert on your side that can crack primitive codes in less time than it takes to think about it.
